A Geneva Planner and Decorator

Dream it! Events is a wedding and event planning business based in Geneva, founded in 2020 by Nelle de Souza. Its homepage describes it as specialized in the organization of refined weddings and exceptional professional events, and the footer sums Nelle up as "Organisatrice et décoratrice d'événements pour les particuliers et les professionnels en Suisse basée à Genève" (an organizer and decorator of events for private clients and businesses in Switzerland, based in Geneva). Decoration is as much a part of the offer as planning, and the one published testimonial is almost entirely about it.

The mission statement says Nelle works with a team of certified service providers and takes on the creation and planning of private events "en Suisse, France ou à l'étranger" (in Switzerland, France or abroad). It cites her varied experience in the international luxury hotel industry and a diploma from the Wedding Planning Institute USA (Lovegevity University). The stated core values are listening and attention to detail, and the site promises to handle projects small and large. Asked what its secret is, the homepage answers with listening and kindness ("Écoute et bienveillance"). Weddings are the focus, but the mission statement adds that the team also accompanies clients through the other happy events of their lives.

The Services for Couples

The homepage sets out three services, two of them for private clients.

The first is full wedding organization, the service the site introduces as entrusting it with your wedding. The site pitches it at demanding couples who want to enjoy an exceptional day without worrying about the preparations, with every detail thought through. Two strands sit under it: a personalized wedding celebration (Célébration mariage personnalisée) and destination travel (Destination voyage), and the site menu carries a separate Destination Mariage page, which points to weddings organized away from the couple's home.

The second is consulting for private clients (Consulting pour les particuliers), aimed at couples who want to organize their own wedding while having quality support at each stage. The site describes it as for couples who want to stay in control of the organization but lean on a professional's expertise.

The private contact form adds a third way in. Its service field offers virtual support (Accompagnement virtuel), decoration (Décoration) and research and support (Recherche et support), which suggests that couples can also book individual pieces of help rather than a whole package.

What the Site Says About Money

The site does not publish a price list for its packages, but the private contact form carries a budget field with three options: an hourly rate of CHF 90, a bracket from CHF 10,000 to 40,000, and CHF 40,000 and above. The site does not explain whether these brackets refer to the overall wedding budget or to the planning fee, so a couple should ask which it is before comparing it with other planners. The form also asks for the event date, the number of people and the venues, and a message, and quotes follow from there.

The first exchange is free ("1ᵉʳ échange offert"), and couples can book a slot directly in Nelle's calendar from the homepage. For a couple planning from abroad, that online booking is the practical first step. The only email address published is info@dreamit.events, and the footer links to separate FAQ pages for private clients and for companies, a page of recommendations and certifications, and the business's Instagram account.

Events for Companies

The third service is corporate events (Espace événementiel Corporate), with pages titled Tailored Corporate Events and Make your talent shine. The business contact form lists budget brackets of 3000 to 5000, 6000 to 10000, and 11000 and above, and asks for the company name, contact role, event objective and the planned payment method. It is a separate line of work from the weddings, but it shows the business runs events for companies as well as couples.

Portfolio and What Couples Say

The site presents six weddings it says it organized entirely, shown with the clients' consent: L'amour dépasse les frontières, Mariage VIP au Montreux Palace, Romantique & Minimaliste, Raffiné en blanc au bord du lac, Romantisme exotique and Romance autour des montagnes. The homepage also carries a wedding film, "Reportage Mariage de Malicia & Jason". The Montreux Palace title shows the business works outside Geneva as well, though the portfolio entries on the homepage carry only titles and images, without text.

The homepage shows a count of 16 reviews and quotes one in full, from Manon and Théo. They write that everything was perfect and their guests loved the decoration, that Nelle was exceptional, patient, attentive and full of good advice, and that she gave 200% to fulfill what they had in mind. They say that "Du plafond au sol, tout était harmonieux" (from ceiling to floor, everything was harmonious), that she thought of treats for the children, and that she adapted to their budget, finding what they had dreamed of or suggesting adjustments they had not thought of.

What the Site Does Not Settle

The site is published in French only, apart from a few English page titles, and it does not say which languages Nelle or her team work in. An English-speaking couple should confirm that before booking. The budget brackets on the contact form are not explained, and no package lists its contents. The site does not describe how guest accommodation or transport are handled, even under the destination strand, and it does not name the certified service providers on the team or say how many people coordinate on the day. There is no information on lead times or on how far in advance couples should book.

Who It Suits

Dream it! Events suits couples marrying around Lake Geneva, or elsewhere in Switzerland or France, who put decoration and styling at the center of the day and want a planner who designs as well as organizes. The consulting and virtual support options open it to couples doing most of the planning themselves, and the published hourly rate is a useful anchor. The free first exchange and calendar booking make the first step easy from abroad. The caveats are the French-only site with no stated working languages, and a budget field on the contact form that leaves the actual fees for the first conversation.
