A Planning Team in Baden

Hochzeitszauber is a wedding planning business based in Baden in the canton of Aargau, signed "Julia & das Hochzeitszauber-Team" (Julia and the Hochzeitszauber team). Its motto pairs "Euer perfekter Tag" (your perfect day) with "unsere Leidenschaft" (our passion), and the homepage lays out the range in one sentence: full service, partial organization or coordination on the wedding day itself. The site presents the team as planners for the whole of Switzerland, "von A wie Aargau bis Z wie Zürich" (from A for Aargau to Z for Zurich), in all cantons.

The packages page opens with the line "Keine Hochzeit ist wie die andere und 0815 kennen wir nicht" (no two weddings are alike, and run of the mill is not something we know), and says the team is there to design, plan and coordinate each wedding individually so the couple can simply enjoy the exciting time before it. It also pitches the team as troubleshooters for couples whose plans go wrong shortly before the day.

How the Team Describes Its Work

The homepage keeps the tone personal. Its opening question, "Verliebt, verlobt und auf dem Weg zu heiraten?" (in love, engaged and on the way to getting married?), leads into a promise to stand at the couple's side so they are not overwhelmed by the planning and can approach the preparations without worry, with support that is simple, uncomplicated and fitted to their needs. The team describes working hand in hand with a lot of heart and attention to detail, and sums up its attitude as thinking with the couple, for the couple and always of the couple. The menu also has pages on the team's role (Unsere Aufgabe) and on the team itself (Das Team), and a link to learn more about J and A, the initials also used in the business name JA Hochzeitszauber.

The Full Package

The Rundum-Paket (all-round package) is the full service. The page lists what it includes:

  • a concept with a schedule, budgeting, and ongoing monitoring of the budget as plans change and new wishes come up
  • visual design based on the couple's design ideas
  • recommendations and coordination of every supplier involved
  • a script (Drehbuch) for the wedding day
  • support on site on the day

The package is described as fulfilling the couple's wishes without worry, with the team always at their side. For a couple planning from a distance, the ongoing budget monitoring and the day script are the practical parts of that promise.

Partial Help and Day-of Coordination

The Kleine Zauberhilfe (small magic help) is the partial package, for couples who want support at various points. It includes a concept with a schedule and budgeting, visual design according to the couple's wishes and depending on the effort involved, recommendations and coordination of all suppliers, and the script for the day. The difference from the full package is the on-site support and the continuous budget monitoring, which the partial package does not list.

The Zaubermaster is day-of coordination: everything is ready, and the couple needs someone at their side on the day to coordinate so they can enjoy it fully. Zaubern selbst gemacht (do-it-yourself magic) is the lightest option, for couples who only want tips and help finding the right partners and then handle inquiries and execution on their own.

SOS-Zauber-Hilfe covers the case where something goes wrong shortly before the wedding or the planning gets out of hand; the page says the team can help at the last minute too.

Proposals, Design, Parties and Rentals

The Zauber-Antrag is help with planning the proposal itself. Zauber-Look is a design service, creating the couple's own design and personal wedding look around the day. The team also plans a Polterabend, the pre-wedding party the page describes as the "letzte Nacht in Freiheit" (last night of freedom), under the tags #teambraut and #teambräutigam.

Zauber-Miete is a rental service for items a couple needs for only one day, which the page presents as saving money and being sustainable. The site menu also has a separate page for a Fotobox (photo booth), and the footer links to its own terms and conditions for the photo booth.

Getting in Touch

The homepage invites couples to get in touch for a non-binding and free first meeting (unverbindliches und kostenloses Erstgespräch) and to tell their story. Contact is by email at ja@hochzeitszauber.ch, by phone on +41 79 616 58 63, or through a form that asks for names, email, phone, the planned wedding date, the partner's name, an address and a few words about the couple.

The site also runs a short blog. Its first post, dated 1 September 2022, announces the start of Hochzeitszauber; later posts ask why a couple needs a wedding planner (8 October 2022), look back on 2023 and ahead to the 2024 weddings (8 November 2023), and discuss whether to invite children to a wedding (19 January 2024). The site's copyright line also reads 2022, so the business is a relatively young one.

What the Site Does Not Settle

The site publishes no prices for any package or for the photo booth and rentals, so every quote follows the first meeting. It names Julia but no other team members, and does not describe their training or how many people attend a wedding. It does not list the items available for rent. The claim to cover all cantons is not backed by named past weddings, venues or regions, and the site does not say whether travel costs apply outside the Baden area.

For couples from abroad, the site is written in German only and does not mention English or any other language. It does not describe help with guest accommodation or transport, and it says nothing about ceremonies or the civil formalities, which a couple should raise at the first meeting.

Who It Suits

Hochzeitszauber suits German-speaking couples, especially around Baden and the wider region, who want a friendly, flexible team and a clear set of options, from a few supplier tips to the full package with support on site. The SOS option is useful for couples whose own plans hit trouble close to the date, and the proposal help and Polterabend planning show a team happy to handle the events around the wedding as well. The main caveats for an international couple are the German-only site, the absence of prices and a short track record, with the blog dating the start to 2022.
