NJ-Wedding is a Luzern studio where floral design and wedding planning come from the same person. Noreén Jakob, the founder and owner, offers two services under one name: made-to-measure floral decoration for weddings and events, and wedding planning that runs from the engagement to the day itself. She works with a team, and the site stresses personal attention and individual concepts over a standard package.
The business and its owner
Noreén Jakob is a trained florist with, in her words, long experience in floral design and the events industry. To offer couples a complete service, she also completed training as a wedding planner at the AWEE in Zurich. She describes the combination of craft knowledge, creativity and organization as what lets her accompany each celebration with care and a high standard of quality. Her about page adds that the team takes on stylish weddings, exclusive birthday parties, company events and other celebrations, with personal attention and concepts built around the client.
She writes that creativity has been the common thread of her life since childhood, and that she pairs a feel for aesthetics, color and form with a genuine liking for planning and organization. The small details are what she cares about most, because in her view they are what turn a nice occasion into one people remember. That emphasis shows in how the planning page is written: it is less about grand gestures and more about schedules, supplier briefings and making sure nothing is left to chance.
The studio's address is Thorenbergstrasse 23, 6014 Luzern, and the site gives the phone number +41 77 265 92 94 and the email info@nj-wedding.ch.
The home page carries one client review, from a couple signed M & L, dated August 2024 and linked to Flora Alpina in Vitznau. They write that Noreén decorated their wedding beautifully, down to their dog's collar, that everything was perfect from A to Z, and that communication with her was easy and friendly. They recommend her and the team for weddings and other events.
Floral design
The floral side decorates weddings and events in a style matched to the occasion, from flower centerpieces to larger creative decorations, and the home page says the studio is happy to build a made-to-measure concept for each couple.
Sustainability is the thread through her floristry. The about page states her conviction in her own words: "Exklusive Floristik und verantwortungsbewusstes Handeln Hand in Hand gehen können" (exclusive floristry and responsible action can go hand in hand). She writes that sustainability is not a trend for her but a stance. Wherever possible, she does without plastic-based floral foam (Steckschaum, the green foam block most florists push stems into) and uses more environmentally friendly techniques and materials instead, without compromising on design or quality. She describes herself as part of a new generation that wants to show timeless elegance, new concepts and sustainable work belong together.
She also names transparency, professionalism and honest advice as values: clients should always be able to follow which decisions are made and why. For a couple planning from a distance, that is a useful promise to hold a planner to.
The studio runs creative workshops in its atelier as well, covering floristry, resin art, Advent arrangements and more. These are a separate line of business, not part of the wedding service.
Wedding planning
The planning page explains why a couple might hire a planner at all, and what NJ-Wedding does in practice.
Suppliers come from the studio's network across the wedding industry. For every service a couple wants, they receive 3-5 suggested partners who meet their requirements. The couple decides, and NJ-Wedding then books the chosen suppliers and takes over communication with them. This keeps the final choices with the couple while removing the research and the back-and-forth.
Deadlines are the planner's job. The page says the team keeps an eye on every deadline so that everything is booked and planned at the right time, and the planning phase stays free of stress.
For the day itself, the team writes a detailed script covering the whole day, what the page calls a "detailliertes Drehbuch für den ganzen Tag" (a detailed screenplay for the whole day), with every step thought through and contingencies prepared for. Everyone involved receives the details they need so that the day runs smoothly. The home page also promises clear budget and time plans and a smooth flow on the day.
The page's tone is personal: the couple's wishes and personalities are the focus, everything is tailored to them, and there should be no compromises or nasty surprises. The first step is a free, non-binding initial consultation (unverbindliches Erstgespräch) to get to know each other.
Booking and the inquiry form
The planning page carries an inquiry form for that first consultation. It asks where the couple lives, which service they want, how far along they are, their approximate budget for the whole wedding, the size of the guest list, the region they have in mind, and a fixed or preferred date. The question about region suggests the studio is open to weddings outside Luzern itself, though the page does not name the areas it covers. Couples can also call or email directly.
What the site does not settle
The site publishes no prices for floral work or planning, and no packages, so the cost only becomes clear after the first conversation. It does not say whether day-of coordination can be booked on its own. It does not name the regions or venues the studio has worked in beyond the one review from Vitznau.
It also does not say which languages Noreén and her team work in. The whole site is in German and uses the informal "ihr". A couple planning from abroad, or an English-speaking expat couple, should confirm language in the first message, particularly because the planner will be speaking to suppliers on their behalf.
Who it suits
NJ-Wedding suits couples marrying in central Switzerland who want flowers and planning from one studio, so that the floral design is part of the overall concept rather than a separate order. The foam-free approach will matter to couples who care about waste at their wedding. The 3-5 supplier shortlist per service is a good fit for couples who want to choose for themselves without doing the research. The caveats are the lack of published pricing and the German-only site, which leaves couples from abroad to ask about language before anything else.
