NOC Event

NOC Event is an event agency in Valais, run by NOC Event Sàrl (its rental terms name the company Noc Event, Nocturnologie Sàrl). It plans weddings, company events and team outings, and it rents furniture and decoration under the name NOC Location. The legal notice gives its address as Route du manège 60 in Sion and a second address at Rue principale 23 in Euseigne, where the rental terms place its showroom. The company notice records its creation on 05.02.2015.

What the wedding page offers

The wedding page is short and in French. It opens with two formulas:

• "Sérénité": "Nous organisons l'intégralité de votre mariage avec vous" (we organize your entire wedding with you).
• "A la carte": "Nous organisons partiellement votre mariage" (we organize part of your wedding).

The page does not break either formula down into a list of services, and it does not say what is included in each or what they cost. What it does promise is attention to detail and creativity with elegance, and it sets the goal in its own words: "faire de vous les plus heureux des mariés" (to make you the happiest of newlyweds).

On venues, the page offers "des adresses exclusives et confidentielles" (exclusive and confidential addresses) selected by the team. It does not name any of them, which fits the word confidential but leaves a couple unable to judge the range before a meeting.

Two buttons close the section. One books an appointment. The other reads "Je désire créer mon évènement et recevoir une offre sous 7 jours": a request to build an event and receive an offer within 7 days. That promised turnaround is a concrete, useful detail for a couple planning at a distance.

Destination weddings

A second block on the wedding page carries the heading "Wedding Destination" and the line "France ? Croatie ? Italie ? Maroc ? Grèce". It names five places: the Camargue, Split, Tuscany, Marrakech and Santorini, with a live weather widget for each. The page says nothing more about them: no sample itinerary, no venues, no past weddings. A couple interested in one of these should ask what NOC Event has actually organized there and how it handles suppliers abroad.

Tables and decoration: NOC Location

The rental side matters for a wedding because the same company can supply tables, chairs and decoration. The wedding page links to "notre catalogue de tables" (our catalog of tables), and the rental page lets a client ask for an offer. The terms of rental, published on the site, are unusually detailed:

• Prices on the site are shown before tax. VAT (7.77 %) and management and maintenance fees are added. Consumables such as batteries and candles are not included unless the offer says so. Prices are per event, not per day, and may change if the material stays out for several consecutive days.
• Booking is confirmed when the client returns the signed offer by its deadline and pays the total or the agreed deposit. Rentals over Fr. 300.- need a 50 % down payment on signing; smaller rentals are paid in full on signing.
• Security deposit. On signing, the client also pays a deposit equal to 1/3 of the rental amount. It is refunded within 14 days after the event if everything comes back in good condition, or credited to the invoice.
• Express rental covers rentals starting within 72 hours of first contact, at a special rate.
• Collection and return normally happen on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Euseigne showroom, and another appointment can be agreed. Delivery, installation and pickup are not included in the rental prices.
• Cancellation is free within 7 days of the signed offer; after that 50 % of the total is due, and 100 % if the cancellation comes less than 2 weeks before the rental starts.
• Postponement must be announced at least 2 weeks before the event, and money already paid stays valid for 18 months after the original date.
• Private clients and foreign companies must have the balance in the company's account at least 2 weeks before the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Terms for planned events

The general terms of service, which apply when an event combines planning and rental, add a cancellation scale for organized events: 30 % of the total once the first deposit is received, 50 % from 6 to 3 months before the date, 70 % from 3 months to 2 weeks before, and 100 % in the final 2 weeks, plus work already done. The same terms state that the client must describe access to the location (parking, elevator, stairs) and, as written there, attests to holding insurance covering theft, loss or damage of the rented material, which the company's own insurance does not cover. Decoration packages cover only the objects in the site's decoration section, and exclude furniture, fresh flowers, fabrics and catering items. Anyone signing should read these terms in full; they are in French and governed by Swiss law, with Sion as the place of jurisdiction.

Values and the team

The legal notice has a section on the company's values. In 2018, it says, NOC Event cut its paper use by more than 60% by limiting postal mail and routine printing, and it limits plastic and waste at its events. It has worked with the EMERA foundation for its laundry for 2 years, and Nocturnologie Sàrl hires people in precarious situations for certain periods to help them back into working life. It supports the associations Chez Paou, Le Copain, Hôtel Dieu and Les tables du Rhône when it can, and takes on young people who want an internship to discover the trade. The legal notice names Charles Martin as director of publication.

What the site does not say

The site publishes no prices for the wedding formulas, and the NOC Location page itself shows no rental prices, only a button to request an offer. It does not list the venues behind its confidential addresses or show past weddings. The whole site is in French, and it does not state which languages the team works in, so an English-speaking couple should ask first. The home page is mostly a string of keywords naming Valais, Geneva, Fribourg, Lausanne and Vaud, which is not a firm statement of where the team travels.

Who it suits

NOC Event suits couples marrying in Valais or elsewhere in French-speaking Switzerland who want planning and rented furniture and decoration from one company, and who value published, detailed booking terms. The offer-within-7-days promise helps couples planning from abroad. The caveats are a thin wedding page, no published planning prices, and destination options that are named but not described.
