A Basel planner who designs as well as organizes

The Art of Love is the wedding planning business of Agnieszka, a planner in Basel. The site's description places the work in Basel and German-speaking Switzerland more widely. Her home page opens with the line "Ich plane nicht nur Hochzeiten" and continues, across its headings, that she creates experiences that last: planning, in her view, is about making the couple's personality visible in every detail, from the first conversation to the last dance.

She offers five services: full planning (Komplett-Planung), partial planning (Teilplanung), day coordination (Tagesbegleitung), first-dance coaching (Hochzeitstanz), and wedding mirrors and signage. She describes her way of working as structure, calm and creativity, and promises to think of everything that happens between "Ja" and "Ich will", so that the schedule, suppliers and decoration fit together while the couple enjoys the day.

What she promises

A section on the home page sets out what couples get from working with her, in seven short points:

  • Trust. The couple does not have to control anything: she knows the way, holds the threads and guides them through the planning.
  • Vision made tangible. Ideas, colors and wishes are shaped into one coherent, personal whole.
  • Budget. Setting priorities, creating clarity, and spending where it really changes the wedding.
  • Design that reflects the couple. "Nicht Pinterest kopiert" (not copied from Pinterest): the couple's story translated into aesthetics, details and moments.
  • Less googling. No comparing, negotiating and sorting, but experience, market knowledge and clear recommendations.
  • A day that runs because someone leads it. In her words: "Ihr feiert. Ich koordiniere." (You celebrate. I coordinate.)
  • Suppliers who fit and deliver. She knows prices, quality and processes, and the couple benefits from her network and avoids wrong decisions.

How the planning runs

The site lays out four steps:

  1. Beratungsgespräch. A free first meeting to get to know each other and talk about the couple's vision, wishes and dreams.
  2. Konzepterstellung. A tailored design and planning concept, from color palette to decoration, that reflects the couple's personality.
  3. Detaillierte Planung. She coordinates suppliers, the schedule and all the fine details so everything fits together.
  4. Betreuung am Hochzeitstag. On the day she is at the couple's side, keeps an eye on the schedule and solves small problems before they arise.

The home page does not describe the partial planning and day coordination services separately, beyond naming them; each has its own page in the menu.

First-dance coaching

The first dance is a distinct part of the offer, and two reviews describe it. Claudia and Robby write that their wedding dance was an absolute highlight of the evening, and that Agnieszka organized everything around it, from the music to the lighting, so they could concentrate on the moment without worrying about technical details. Jasmin Schaub describes lessons that prepared the couple step by step, with patience and a good sense of their pace, and says the hours were always full of joy. For a couple who wants a choreographed first dance without finding a separate dance school, having it from the same person who runs the day is a practical advantage.

What the reviews say

The home page shows Google reviews through a review widget. They are specific enough to be useful.

BlaMed, recommended to her by a sister, had already planned a lot themselves and were really looking for a coordinator and decorator. They write that she opened their eyes during the planning and especially the execution. They had invited 270 people, and they say she managed to satisfy everyone, with very positive feedback from guests.

Vanessa Limacher writes that the planning was organized from start to finish, that the team took all their wishes into account and exceeded them, and that they were impressed by the attention to detail and the coordination of all suppliers, from venue search to decoration and timing.

Lea-Jessica and Julian value that she stayed true to their wishes while bringing her own ideas, so that the design went beyond what they had imagined.

Several reviews come from people who worked with her rather than married with her. Kenan Egin worked with The Art of Love on a styled shoot and calls the planning "strukturiert, kreativ und bis ins Detail durchdacht" (structured, creative and thought through down to the detail). Saskia of LinaRina Hochzeiten, a fellow wedding planner, calls her a wonderful colleague. Kerstin Gasser writes that working with her as a wedding planner is always a pleasure and the organization always extremely professional, and Sarah Gordon worked with her on an event.

Portfolio, blog and contact

The portfolio on the home page lists six weddings by initials, from J & L to A & C. The blog carries posts on why a couple might hire a wedding planner and a guide to places to marry in Basel, which is useful reading for couples new to the city.

Contact is by phone (+41 79 928 74 84), by email (info@taol.ch), through Instagram or TikTok (@theartofloveweddings), or through a three-step inquiry form. The form asks for the wedding date, the venue, the number of guests and the planned budget, all as required fields, plus how the couple heard about her and a message. She promises to reply personally.

What the site leaves open

The site publishes no prices for any service. It does not say how far ahead to book. A heading in the footer reads "Zertifizierungen" (certifications), but the page text lists none, so a couple interested in her training should ask. It does not describe weddings outside Switzerland.

Language is the main open point for couples from abroad. The site is in German and does not state which languages she works in. A couple who needs to plan in English should ask in the first message.

Who it suits

The Art of Love suits couples marrying in Basel or elsewhere in German-speaking Switzerland who want a planner with a strong design eye, and couples who want their first dance prepared by the same person who runs the day. The BlaMed review shows she has handled a wedding with 270 invited guests. The caveats are no published prices and a German-only site, and the budget and guest count are asked for up front, so couples should have a rough figure ready.
