A planning studio in Leuk, Valais

Wedding in Style is a wedding planning, decoration and design studio at Umfahrungsstrasse 10 in Leuk, in the canton of Valais (Wallis). Its own pages say it was founded in 2014, and it sells four levels of help, from a free online community for brides who plan their own wedding up to full-service planning, alongside a decoration rental service listed in the site menu as "Dekoverleih".

The team page names Nicole Bauer, a diploma-holding wedding planner (Dipl. Hochzeitsplanerin) who owns and leads the business; Nadja Fryand, also a diploma-holding planner and the deputy managing director; and Anja Werlen as assistant. A fourth slot is marked "New Member, coming soon", which fits the page's own heading, "1 Team - 8 Hände" (one team, eight hands). The site is written entirely in German, and the tone is personal and informal, addressing couples as "ihr" and brides as "du".

Four ways in

The home page frames the offer around where a couple is starting from. Some want orientation for their own planning, some want personal help with the big decisions, and some want to hand over the whole organization. The four options it lists are these.

Kostenlose Community (free community). Aimed at brides who plan their own wedding and want support, orientation and exchange along the way. The page describing it is candid about the problem it addresses: you go looking for one idea, an hour later ten tabs are open, three people have given three opinions, and a decision that felt settled suddenly feels shaky. Typical questions it names are whether to pick the venue or set the budget first, whether to send the save-the-date now or wait, and DJ or live band. The pitch is that the community is not another group full of opinions: the two planners help sort the options, explain how decisions affect one another, and help a bride work out what suits her own wedding. It is described as free and non-binding, and it is explicitly for brides planning their wedding themselves.

Planungsprogramm & Coaching (planning program and coaching). For couples who want to plan their own wedding, but with structure, clarity and personal guidance.

Dekorationskonzept (decoration concept). For couples who want a coherent wedding concept that reflects their personality. The about page says giving a one-off event a special, individual design is one of the studio's strengths.

Full Service Hochzeitsplanung (full-service planning). For couples who want to put the organization of their wedding into professional hands. The about page adds that the studio will either put the finishing touches on a plan a couple has already built or organize the whole wedding, and in both cases works out a concept for the day together with the couple.

Each tier on the home page links to a "learn more" page, and the main call to action throughout is to book a free conversation (Kostenloses Gespräch buchen). The home page does not describe what the coaching program, the decoration concept or the full-service package contain in detail, so the scope of each is something to establish in that first call.

Experience, awards and press

The studio leans on its track record. The home page says it has been guiding couples for more than 10 years, and the community page repeats that the knowledge behind it comes from real weddings since 2014: which decisions matter early, which things cause worry far too soon, and where small choices have large effects later.

The about page lists two awards. In 2024/2025 the studio was named "Wedding Planner of the Year", and the press list attributes that to Corporate Live Wire as a global award. In 2025 it was also named „Engagiertestes Team von Hochzeitsplanern“ (the most committed team of wedding planners). The studio thanks its couples for both and says the second recognizes team spirit and dedication, not only organization and a sense of style.

Press and media mentions on the same page include regional coverage: the Walliser Bote on weddings during the pandemic, two Rhone-Zeitung pieces (one on a celebrity wedding in Zermatt, one on why a couple might hire a planner) and a ZANK YOU article on why Swiss couples like to marry in Zermatt. Radio Rottu Oberwallis carried several segments with the planners, on wedding trends, weddings during the pandemic, the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan, and the job of a wedding planner.

The gallery and what couples say

The gallery shows past weddings under themed names rather than as case studies: Alpenliebe, Vespa and Amore, Lavendel Bergtraum, Winter Wonderland Zermatt, Magic Moments Zermatt, Boho Sommerhochzeit, Greenery, a hunting-themed Jägerhochzeit, Canada meet Swiss, White and gold, a Baltic-themed Ostsee Sommertraum, Alpine Vintage, Blue Summer Wine, Waldhochzeit (a forest wedding), a Great Gatsby New Year's Eve wedding, a garden wedding, and one titled "Die Traufe" that combined a wedding ceremony and a baptism. Several credit the photographer, among them Christian Pfammatter, Tatjana Meyer and Sandra Ardizzone. The range is wide, from alpine and rustic to winter and glamorous, and two Zermatt weddings sit alongside a Canadian and Swiss one, which is a useful sign for a couple from abroad. The page says further pictures go up on the studio's social media channels.

The home page quotes a handful of couples. The recurring theme is that someone always had the overview: Simone and Adrian write that without the planners they would have forgotten a lot, and Chiara and Philipp that they would have ended up stressed. The page points to more reviews on Google.

What the site does not settle

The site publishes no prices for any of the four tiers, and none for the decoration rental. It does not say how far outside Valais the planners travel, whether they take weddings elsewhere in Switzerland, or what the rental inventory contains and whether items are delivered and set up. It says nothing about English: every page is in German, and there is no English version. For a couple planning from abroad, the language of the planning calls and the coordination on the day is the first thing to raise.

The community is described as a service for brides; whether a groom or a same-sex couple joins in the same way is not addressed. The site also gives no lead time, no booking or deposit terms, and no cap on how many weddings the team takes per season.

Booking and contact

Contact is by email to info@hochzeitsplanung-wallis.ch or by phone on +41 79 886 68 78, and the site's buttons lead to booking the free first conversation. The studio's address in Leuk is on every page.

Who it suits

Wedding in Style suits couples marrying in Valais, including in Zermatt, who want a planner that works across a range of looks and can also supply decoration. The free community is a low-cost starting point for a bride who wants to run her own planning with an experienced sounding board, and the coaching tier sits between that and full service for couples who want structure without handing everything over. The main caveats for an international couple are language and price: the whole site is German, and the cost of each tier only becomes clear in conversation. Couples comfortable with German, or willing to ask about English in the first call, get a small, established team with a decade of weddings behind it.
