Cronoparty & Services is a caterer and event company in Bellinzona, in the canton of Ticino, trading as Cronoparty & Services Sagl and in business since 1994. It offers catering, banqueting, event and wedding planning, party service and supplies, works at a long list of venues across Ticino, and says it has the logistics for events of up to 1200 people.

The company and its motto

The site's banner reads "No problems! Only solutions!", and the services page explains where that comes from. When the young company chose its motto in 1994, it committed itself to offering solutions always matched to the specific needs of each client, a promise the page concedes was not easy to keep. The page argues that still being in business, with an activity that has grown considerably over the years, shows the promise was kept.

The homepage makes the same point from the client side. What sets the company apart, it says, is "Più di 20 anni di attività con alla base gli stessi clienti che ritornano con nuovi mandati!" (more than 20 years in business, built on the same clients coming back with new assignments). The services page adds that clients often entrust it with ever more complex and important mandates, as a sign of their confidence. Looking ahead, it says its aim will stay the same whatever the circumstances: to offer sound solutions to clients' needs, whether stated or unspoken, because helping their events succeed is "l'unico modo che abbiamo per garantire il nostro successo" (the only way we have to guarantee our own success).

The homepage also shows a practical view of events. A lifetime in the restaurant world has taught the team that successful catering means achieving the client's goals and dreams, "così noi diventiamo partner ideale e lo guidiamo verso le soluzioni ottimali" (so we become the ideal partner and guide the client toward the best solutions). The client's needs, the structure of the venue and the weather make each event unique, with problems that need solving in advance.

Six services

The services page sets out six lines of work, each with a one-line description:

• Catering. Special moments should be enjoyed to the full; let the specialists guide you in organizing your party.
• Event planner. Every successful event needs planning that takes care of every single aspect.

• Wedding planner. "Al vostro fianco per organizzare il Matrimonio perfetto" (at your side to organize the perfect wedding).

For a couple, the useful point is that the wedding planning line sits next to the catering and banqueting lines in the same company. A couple can use Cronoparty for the food alone, or ask it to take on more of the organization. The site does not spell out what the wedding planning service includes, so that is a first question. The supplies line is also worth noting for a wedding at a family home or in a private garden, since it is pitched precisely as catering brought to your own house.

The homepage states "Disponiamo della logistica necessaria per realizzare eventi fino a 1200 persone!" (we have the logistics needed to run events of up to 1200 people). Most weddings are far smaller, but the figure tells a couple that a large family wedding is well within the company's range. The site gives no minimum.

Who it suits

Cronoparty suits couples marrying in Ticino who want an experienced local company that can handle both the food and much of the organization, particularly for a larger wedding or a venue that needs everything brought in. The long venue list and the 1200-person logistics suggest a team comfortable in halls, cloisters and public spaces as well as private homes.

The caveats are that the website speaks in general terms, with no menus, prices or detail on the wedding planning service, and that it is written only in Italian. A couple should expect to learn most of what they need in a first conversation rather than on the site.
