Franky's BBQ

Franky's brings a food truck to the wedding for couples who want a relaxed grill-and-smoke meal instead of a plated dinner. The menu runs through burgers and patties, smoked meats such as brisket, and crosses into other styles too, with Mexican tacos, Thai dishes, crepes and coffee on the list, plus a veggie burger for guests who don't eat meat. The meat is sourced through Schweizer Fleisch.

The kit is part of the appeal: three restored vintage trucks and two smokers, one of them a converted Primus fire engine. The setup suits gardens, lakesides and barns, and the team supports the planning around the event. Franky's operates in the Basel region, with bases in Basel, Liestal and Reinach, and works in German.
