What FlashEvents offers
FlashEvents rents out three event attractions across Switzerland: a Premium Fotobox from 549 CHF, a Magic Fotospiegel (a mirror photo booth) from 649 CHF, and a 360° Video Spinner for 899 CHF. The site gives two addresses, Güterstrasse 4 in 8952 Schlieren and Hardturmstrasse 175 in 8005 Zürich, and delivery is priced from the Zurich address. It names weddings, birthdays, company parties, trade fairs and promotions as its events, and in the enquiry form each of them, weddings included, carries the note "Wir sind spezialisiert" (we specialize in this). FlashEvents is a brand of dreamcode.ch, and the owner replies that sit under the reviews, together with the reviews themselves, point to Julian as the person couples deal with.
The whole site is in German. It is detailed on prices and inclusions, which suits a couple planning from abroad, but it says nothing about working in English. For anyone who wants to read offline or forward the details to a partner, the footer links to downloadable PDF overviews of the whole range, of each booth and of the print options, alongside a blog and an online shop.
The three booths
Premium Fotobox, from 549 CHF. The site describes Sony cameras with ZEISS lenses and professional lighting, so pictures stay sharp in a dark room. Guests use a touchscreen, photos and GIFs go into an online gallery with no limit on numbers, and guests can share them on the spot by AirDrop, email, SMS or QR code. A basic backdrop in the color of your choice is included.
Magic Fotospiegel, from 649 CHF. The FAQ describes it as an interactive mirror used as a photo booth: guests see themselves in the mirror while the picture is taken and operate it through a large touchscreen. It has the same camera, gallery and sharing features as the Premium Fotobox. One wedding review on the page praises "Sehr schöner Fotospiegel, sehr gute Druckqualität und Top Service von Julian" (a very beautiful photo mirror, very good print quality and top service from Julian).
360° Video Spinner, 899 CHF. Guests stand on a fixed platform while a camera rotates around them, producing a short video from every angle. It has RGB lighting for dark venues, unlimited videos with an online gallery, and sharing by QR code and AirDrop. The product list says it takes up to 4-6 people, while another section of the page gives 3-4, so check the figure for your group shots.
Every booth comes with what FlashEvents calls a free event setup, in red and gold or black: red carpets, a guide system with velvet ropes, a props table and a set of 30 basic props. The headline promise on all three is "Keine Zeitbegrenzung (All Day - All Night)": no time limit on the rental.
Prints
Prints are chosen separately. With no prints the digital version is free. Otherwise the printing station comes with 100 prints for 99 CHF (recommended up to 50 guests), 200 for 179 CHF (up to 100 guests), 350 for 250 CHF (up to 200 guests) or 700 for 350 CHF (from 200 guests), each including photo strips, the standard 10x15 format and a print design. The page says the printer produces a print within 7 seconds and handles up to 700 prints without changing the roll.
Delivery, setup and support
Delivery, installation, setup and dismantling are included. Delivery is free within 10 km of 8005 Zürich, and beyond that the site charges 1 CHF per km with no flat call-out fee. The FAQ says setup usually takes about 60 minutes depending on the setup and the venue, and that FlashEvents handles setup and pickup. It lists "24/7 Support/Betreuung" among the inclusions and says the team is available before, during and after the event to help with technical problems. It also states that no refund is given for a technical failure after the event has started, with liability set out in its general terms. The FAQ recommends booking at least 4 weeks ahead.
Reviews support the service side. One client describes friendly and competent advice, "Lieferung vor Ort, Support während des Events" (delivery on site, support during the event) and a camera that worked faultlessly all day. A bride writes that at their wedding "es hat von A-Z alles geklappt" (everything worked from A to Z) and that Julian was extremely friendly and obliging. Another client valued not having to deal with either the setup or the collection. The page shows 5.0 from 79 reviews.
Extras
The add-ons are priced per event: a QR code photo album where guests upload their own photos and videos to one shared album, 39.99; an audio guestbook telephone for spoken messages, 79.99; premium props (glasses, hats, inflatables, bubble guns and money guns), from 29; premium backdrops, from 29, with custom backdrops possible; a DIY guestbook for pasting in prints and writing messages, from 29.99; venue decoration, from 199; and a DJ service, from 900. The site also offers event photography, 4K event videography, full location design and a cocktail bar with bartenders, all on request.
What the site leaves open
The site does not say whether a staff member stays with the booth through the party or whether the 24/7 support is by phone. The kilometer charge is clear, but for a venue far from Zurich it is not said whether travel time or an overnight stay is added. It gives no dimensions or power needs, and nothing on outdoor use. Language is the main gap for a couple from abroad: the site is German only, so write in English and see how the reply comes back. The contact details are +41 76 613 33 13 and an online availability form.
Who it suits
FlashEvents suits couples, especially around Zurich, who want a polished setup rather than a bare booth: red carpet and velvet ropes are included, the rental has no time limit, and the print packages are sized by guest count. The mirror and the 360° spinner give a larger wedding a second attraction, and the audio guestbook and QR album are easy wedding extras. For a venue in another part of Switzerland, work out the kilometer charge first. The FAQ's advice to book at least 4 weeks ahead is easy to meet for a couple who plans the wedding from abroad months in advance.
