Let's go Tours

Let's go Tours calls itself the "Führender schweizer Spezialist für Reisen in den Indischen Ozean, nach Afrika und Arabien seit 1994", the leading Swiss specialist for travel to the Indian Ocean, Africa and Arabia since 1994. Its honeymoon page concentrates on three island destinations, Mauritius, the Seychelles and the Maldives, and it publishes a starting price per night for each hotel it features.

Three islands, three kinds of honeymoon

The page introduces the agency as "der Spezialist für Traumziele wie Mauritius, die Seychellen und die Malediven" (the specialist for dream destinations such as Mauritius, the Seychelles and the Maldives), and suggests couples make themselves a wedding present by planning the honeymoon with it. Each island then gets its own paragraph.

Mauritius is presented as the island for couples who want romance and some action. The page praises its hotels for their service and food, and names specific things to do: a quad tour or a walk with lions in the Casela Nature Park, water skiing, diving and golf. The practical point is financial. Mauritius, it says, has many romantic hotels with especially good special offers for honeymooners, and "Teilweise können Sie von Rabatten bei Reisen bis zu einem Jahr nach der Hochzeit profitieren" (in some cases you can benefit from discounts on trips up to a year after the wedding). That matters to couples who marry in summer but cannot travel until later.

The Seychelles get the page's wedding offer. Their beaches lie between granite and coral islands, and the page calls them ideal for a honeymoon "oder auch für die Eheschliessung selbst" (or for the marriage itself). The agency says its local partners take care of all the formalities before you leave, so that on the Seychelles you have nothing to organize and can simply look forward to the ceremony. For couples who want to travel from Switzerland to marry on the islands, that is a service to discuss in detail; the page does not say which documents are needed or what the service costs. It also suggests an island combination to see several of the Seychelles' beaches, with small, personal places to stay.

The Maldives are the classic choice in the page's own framing, with private villas on the beach or on stilts over the water. It notes that house reefs and islands differ from atoll to atoll, and says the agency knows the best resort islands and can organize an island-hopping tour that links several of them. Some hotels offer attractive discounts. On ceremonies, the page says couples can say yes again in the Maldives, and that many resorts there offer such ceremonies. It is plain about their status: "Obwohl die Hochzeiten nicht rechtskräftig sind" (although these weddings have no legal effect). The one condition it names is that the real wedding has already happened at home. The agency presents a Maldives ceremony as a renewal of vows.

Published hotel prices

The page lists hotels with a price from which one night can be booked, which gives a couple a working sense of budget before any quote. On Mauritius, the range runs from the SALT of Palmar, an adults-only boutique hotel, at CHF 102, through LUX* Belle Mare at CHF 180 and One&Only Le Saint Géran at CHF 483, to Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa at CHF 794. On the Seychelles, Veranda Paul et Virginie starts at CHF 135, STORY Seychelles at CHF 332, Constance Ephelia at CHF 431, Raffles Seychelles at CHF 715, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles on Mahé at CHF 881 and the Waldorf Astoria on Platte Island at CHF 1,145. In the Maldives, Baglioni Maldives, sold as an all-inclusive resort, starts at CHF 502 and Soneva Jani at CHF 1,283.

The page labels these as prices for one night, and the listings do not say whether that figure is per person or per room, or what board is included beyond the Baglioni's all-inclusive label. Couples should confirm both when asking for a quote.

The same "Beliebte Honeymoon Ziele" block also features safari camps and lodges in Tanzania and Kenya, such as &Beyond Klein's Camp in a private Serengeti reserve from CHF 1,241, and beach hotels on Zanzibar and in Dubai, which shows the agency will combine an island stay with a safari or a stopover.

The people behind it

The honeymoon page names its contact: Franziska Frei, "Reisespezialistin seit 1993", deputy managing director and product manager for the Indian Ocean, reachable on +41 52 624 10 77. Two staff tips follow. Manuela Modena, a travel specialist since 2003 and product manager for the Maldives and Morocco, recommends a sundowner in the Erg Chegaga dunes of Morocco. Kim Zürcher, head of marketing, describes renewing vows on a Maldives beach, walking along the sand accompanied by a Bodu Beru drum group.

Beyond the three islands

The destinations menu is wide within the agency's regions: La Réunion, Madagascar and Mayotte in the Indian Ocean; the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran and Lebanon; Morocco; Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Senegal, Gambia, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe, and the Azores. Trip types include safaris, diving, desert trips, luxury travel, combinations and a dedicated honeymoon category.

What the page leaves open

The page publishes no complete honeymoon packages, flight prices or total trip costs, only the per-night hotel figures. It gives no opening hours, no postal address and no email on this page; contact goes through the phone number and the "Offerte / Kontakt" page. It does not say which conditions apply to the Mauritius honeymoon discounts or how long after the wedding they can be claimed at each hotel. The page is in German and does not say which languages the specialists speak.

Who it suits

Let's go Tours suits couples who have already settled on an Indian Ocean honeymoon, want a specialist in exactly that region, and like seeing hotel prices before they call. It is the one to talk to for couples considering a legal wedding in the Seychelles with the formalities handled locally, or a vow renewal in the Maldives. It suits couples less if they want a honeymoon in Europe, Asia or the Americas, which fall outside its regions.
