Travel Worldwide (travel worldwide AG) is a travel agency at Kirchgasse 22 in Zurich's 8001 postcode, and its honeymoon page, headed "Flitterwochen & Hochzeitsreisen vom Spezialisten", offers honeymoons put together by the agency's destination specialists. The page's main argument is that the best honeymoons often combine several destinations and ways of traveling, and it sets out four families of ideas: islands, Asia, big cities and road trips.
The agency's approach
The page opens with the observation that for many couples the honeymoon counts among the most beautiful days of their lives, which makes the choice of destination and accommodation all the more important. Many newlyweds, it says, have their first chance to visit places they have long wanted to see. The range is wide: lively cities with trendy hotels, lonely islands with beaches, adventurous round trips, safaris, and scenic motorhome and rental car routes.
Its key sentence is "Oftmals ist die Kombinationen verschiedener Destinationen und Reisearten der Schlüssel zu unvergesslichen Honeymoon Reisen" (often a combination of different destinations and types of travel is the key to a memorable honeymoon). From there the agency invites couples to have its "Destinations-Spezialisten" put together an individual honeymoon suited to their needs.
Travel Worldwide is a general agency rather than a honeymoon-only business. Its country menu covers Africa, Alaska, America, Arabia, Asia, Australia, Brazil, China, India, Japan, Canada, the Caribbean, the Maldives, Mauritius, New Zealand, the Seychelles, Scandinavia, Sri Lanka, South America, the South Pacific, Central America and Central Asia, and the honeymoon page is one themed entry among many.
Islands
The islands section is titled "Honeymoon Trauminseln", the most beautiful islands for a honeymoon. It calls lonely islands the epitome of a honeymoon and names the Maldives first, with their many small islands. The Seychelles are known for beaches with distinctive rock formations. Mauritius and its small sister island La Réunion add adventurous jungle hikes to the beaches. The Caribbean and the South Seas are named for their beaches and resorts, and Hawaii, the "Surfer Paradies", is described as very popular with newlyweds and easy to combine with a rental car trip in the USA.
Asia
The Asia section says honeymoon weeks there combine romance with an exotic flair: beaches, a tropical climate and romantic nights under palm trees in luxury resorts, with Southeast Asia offering "fast unschlagbar gute Bedingungen" (almost unbeatable conditions) for couples. It suggests a few nights in a pool villa with maximum privacy, visits to temples and Asian food. The two formats it names are a guided round trip on Bali, "der Götterinsel", and independent island-hopping in Thailand. Thailand, Bali and Vietnam are the linked destinations. The section closes with the offer that the agency's travel specialists will advise couples personally and put together a honeymoon in Asia to their own wishes, which is the same promise the page makes for every region.
Big cities
For couples drawn to city life, the page suggests the trendiest hotels in New York, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Stockholm, Oslo, Sydney, Perth, Tokyo, Beijing and other cities, with parks, restaurants, shopping, museums, history and local customs. It argues that a comfortable hotel keeps the romance and privacy even in a big city, and ends with a tip: combine an urban honeymoon with a nature experience.
On four wheels
The road trip section, "Hochzeitsreisen auf 4 Rädern", is the most practical part of the page. For a rental car round trip, the agency puts together a route and books the best hotels in advance; the couple follows the route day by day and stops wherever they like. For couples who would rather have an adventure than luxury, it suggests a motorhome. Modern motorhomes, it says, are very comfortable and give a flexibility no other type of travel can match. It is candid about one constraint: in some areas and depending on the season, campsites should be booked ahead, though in principle the route is yours to shape.
Motorhomes can be rented through the agency in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Ireland and Scotland. The page closes the section by inviting couples to ask, without obligation, for the perfect route.
Asking for an offer
The page carries its own inquiry form under the heading "Gerne unterbreiten wir Ihnen ein unverbindliches Angebot für Flitterwochen" (we are happy to send you a non-binding offer for your honeymoon). It asks for your holiday wishes, surname, first name, email and phone number, with a field for additional information and an optional box for the agency's newsletter.
Other contact routes are in the header and footer: phone +41 (0)43 500 61 00, fax +41 (0)43 500 61 09 and email info@travelworldwide.ch. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 09 to 12 and 13 to 17:30. The header also links to an appointment page (Termin) and to directions to the office (Anfahrt), so a couple already living in Switzerland can arrange to sit down with a specialist at the Kirchgasse. The page does not describe the office itself.
Team and credentials
The site links to "Unser Team", "Über uns", customer feedback ("Kundenfeedbacks"), Google reviews, news, jobs, gift vouchers, a sustainability page and bank details. An ARVB link sits in the header and footer. The honeymoon page itself does not name any of the specialists, show reviews, or explain what the ARVB membership involves.
What the page leaves open
The page publishes no prices, no sample itineraries and no honeymoon packages. It gives no booking lead time and no deposit or cancellation terms. It does not say whether an offer or a consultation is free of charge beyond calling the offer non-binding. It does not name the safaris it mentions in the introduction.
The page is written in German, and it does not say which languages the specialists speak. A couple writing in English can use the form's free-text field and ask for a reply in English.
Who it suits
Travel Worldwide suits couples who want one agency to stitch together a honeymoon from several parts: a city stay followed by nature, Hawaii after a US road trip, or Mauritius combined with La Réunion. It is especially useful for couples tempted by a motorhome honeymoon in North America, Oceania or northern Europe, where the page is most specific. It suits couples less if they want published prices or ready-made packages to compare, or a site in English.
