TravelLife (TravelLife AG) is a travel agency at Seestrasse 111 in 9326 Horn, whose honeymoon page is titled "Reisebüro Hochzeitsreisen und Flitterwochen mit persönlicher Beratung", a travel agency for honeymoons with personal advice. It plans honeymoons, weddings abroad, anniversary trips and even marriage proposals, through three named advisors who can be reached by phone, WhatsApp, online consultation or in person by appointment.

What the agency offers couples

The page opens in the informal "ihr" form, speaking to the couple directly: "Mit eurer Hochzeit beginnt bereits die Reise eures Lebens" (with your wedding, the journey of your life already begins). It suggests extending the wedding day with an unusual honeymoon, whether that means time alone on white sandy beaches, being pampered from head to toe, or voyages of discovery together.

A short list then sets out how TravelLife plans a honeymoon:

  • "Persönliche und individuelle Beratung mit wertvollen Inspirationen" (personal, individual advice with useful inspiration).
  • "Profitiert von besten Honeymoon Ermässigungen und speziellen Extras vor Ort" (benefit from the best honeymoon discounts and special extras on site).
  • A personal travel package put together to the couple's wishes.
  • "Perfekte Reisebetreuung vor, während und nach eurer Hochzeitsreise" (travel support before, during and after the honeymoon).
  • "TravelLife organisiert euch exklusive Ausflüge, Transfers und zusätzlich Annehmlichkeiten" (excursions, transfers and additional amenities at the destination).
  • "Ein Gutschein für eure Hochzeitsreise als Geschenkidee für eure Hochzeitsgäste": a voucher for your honeymoon as a gift idea for your wedding guests.

That last item is useful for couples whose guests want to contribute to the trip. The page does not explain how the voucher works, what amounts are possible, or how it is credited to the booking.

The timing rule couples should know

The single most practical sentence on the page is flagged "WICHTIG" (important): "Viele Angebote mit sehr guten Honeymoon-Vergünstigungen sind nur innerhalb von 6 Monaten nach der zivilen Trauung gültig." Many offers with very good honeymoon reductions are valid only within 6 months of the civil wedding. The agency's advice is not to hesitate and to plan the honeymoon early.

For couples who plan to delay the honeymoon, perhaps to travel in a different season, that is worth raising in the first conversation, since the discounts are one of the agency's main selling points. The page ties the window to the civil ceremony specifically, which matters for couples whose civil and religious or symbolic ceremonies fall on different dates.

Honeymoon combinations

TravelLife says it knows the best combinations and inspires couples with unusual hotels and destinations. The list:

  • Island hopping in the Seychelles
  • The Maldives and Sri Lanka
  • Mauritius and La Réunion
  • Tanzania with Zanzibar or Mafia Island
  • South Africa with Mauritius or the Seychelles
  • Myanmar with a sailing cruise in Thailand
  • Singapore and Bali
  • New Zealand and Fiji
  • Hong Kong with island hopping in the Philippines
  • New York and the Caribbean islands
  • San Francisco and Hawaii
  • Mykonos and Santorini

For couples who cannot decide, the page links a honeymoon quiz ("Flitterwochen-Quiz") and a honeymoon brochure.

Weddings abroad, anniversaries and proposals

Three further sections widen the offer. "Heiraten im Paradies" is for couples who dream of marrying barefoot on a beach or saying yes at an exclusive place abroad, with a candle-light dinner in a hotel to follow; TravelLife says it knows the right places. A small statistics block beside it gives one reason couples look abroad: many no longer want to risk uncertain weather spoiling the wedding celebration. The page does not describe what the agency arranges for such a wedding or how the formalities are handled, so couples should ask in detail.

The anniversary section offers to celebrate on an island, a cruise or a safari, and says TravelLife knows which hotels give the same conditions as for a honeymoon. Again marked "WICHTIG", it must be a round anniversary: 5, 10, 15, 20 or more years.

The proposal section offers help staging a marriage proposal: a candlelit dinner picnic under the African night sky, a balloon ride over the pagodas of Bagan, a helicopter flight over the Whitsunday Islands in Australia, or a candle-light dinner in the desert.

The advisors and how to book

The section heading sets the tone: "Echte Reiseberatung statt simple Vermittlung" (real travel advice instead of simple booking). The page promises competent, factual advice, and for special requests such as an anniversary or a proposal in a spectacular setting, insider tips.

The page names three travel advisors, each with a direct line, email, WhatsApp, and buttons for an appointment and an online consultation: Monika Meisser (+41 71 511 99 51, monika@travellife.ch), Patricia Schürch (+41 71 511 99 50, patricia@travellife.ch) and Stephanie Gähwiler (+41 71 511 99 52, stephanie@travellife.ch), who is listed as the "Reiseberaterin im Bernbiet", the advisor for the Bern area. The three formats offered are online advice, personal advice by appointment, and phone advice. The main line is +41 71 511 22 62 and the general email info@travellife.ch. There is also an online inquiry button ("Jetzt online anfragen").

The menu shows two departure themes, holidays and offers from Altenrhein, and holidays from Bern Belp, useful for couples who would rather depart from one of those. It also lists an AI travel planner ("KI-Reiseplaner"), the Robinson Club, vouchers and a newsletter. The footer links to a "Reisegarantie" (travel guarantee) page and names the AVRB.

Language

The page is in German, in the informal register. It does not say which languages the advisors speak. Couples who prefer English should ask when booking the online consultation.

What the page leaves open

The page publishes no prices, no deposit terms and no cancellation rules. It does not say how large the honeymoon discounts are or which hotels offer them. It does not describe the wedding-abroad service in practical terms, or explain what the Reisegarantie covers.

Who it suits

TravelLife suits couples who want a named advisor they can message on WhatsApp, and who like the idea of a two-destination honeymoon such as Singapore and Bali or San Francisco and Hawaii. It suits couples who plan to travel soon after the civil wedding and want to use the honeymoon discounts. It suits couples less if they want prices on the page, an English site, or a honeymoon more than 6 months after the wedding at discounted rates.
