Lenzlinger Zeltvermietung AG

Tap a star to rate

Lenzlinger Zeltvermietung AG is a tent rental company at Grossrietstrasse 7 in Nänikon, in the canton of Zurich, and it says it has rented festival tents since 1928. It rents party tents, festival tents, gala tents and pagodas as well as exhibition halls, festival halls and storage halls, adds furniture, stages, carpets, decorations and technical accessories, and offers planning, transport, setup and dismantling, on-site standby and a 24-hour emergency service. The footer describes it as a company of Hunziker AG.

The tent range

The company presents itself as a partner for small and large events "im familiären, freundschaftlichen oder gehobenen Rahmen" (in a family, friendly or upscale setting). Its tents page says it carries a suitable tent for every occasion in almost every shape and size, from pagodas and peaked tents through large party tents to exclusive VIP tents, and that tents can be combined in many variants and extended with add-on sections to fit the space.

The menu organizes the range into four groups:

  • festival halls and party tents (Festhallen & Partyzelte)
  • gala tents and exclusive events (Galazelte & exklusive Anlässe)
  • entrances (Entrées & Eingänge)
  • storage tents, temporary structures and building-site covers

For a wedding, the gala tent page is the one to read. It describes guests walking along a red carpet, through the covered entrance of the tent, into a space for an aperitif and dinner on comfortable chairs. It then states what comes as standard: "Bei unseren VIP-Zelten sind schöne Böden, raffinierte Beleuchtung, wunderschöne Dekoration und eine gute Heizung eine Selbstverständlichkeit" (with our VIP tents, beautiful floors, refined lighting, lovely decoration and good heating are a matter of course). The company says it has a wide range of gala tents in different sizes and a large choice of tables and chairs, plus numerous extras for decoration and accessories.

Furniture and accessories

The rental furniture section covers festival bench sets, tables, chairs, a bar, stages and platforms, and flooring. The quote form lists further accessories in two groups: railings, barrier posts, crowd guidance systems, coat stands, umbrella stands and sunshades; and ceiling drapes (Himmel), double doors, waste bins, ashtrays, emergency exit lights, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and fire blankets. The prices page adds standing tables and heaters to the list.

Service and how the team works

The services page lists what the company sees as its strengths: expert advice and planning, its own assembly staff, a qualified and motivated team, a large stock of tent sizes and rental furniture, flexible availability thanks to its own material, a personal and reliable approach, a setup and dismantling service, and on-site standby with a 24-hour emergency service. It explains that experience, "erprobten Abläufen, exakter Arbeitsweise und kompetenten Partnern" (proven procedures, precise working methods and competent partners) let its specialists run even large events smoothly, including meeting building and fire regulations.

The about page adds that punctual delivery, professional assembly and personal support on site are taken for granted, because a celebration gets no second chance. The company says it works out tailored solutions with its clients to suit the event and the location, and that it keeps investing in renewing and expanding its stock of tents and furniture.

Prices and booking

The prices page splits the answer in two. For seating, tables and event accessories such as heaters, barriers and coat stands, it links to a price list. For tents and tent halls, costs are calculated individually, and the gala tent page names the factors: location, transport, assembly method and rental period.

Quotes are requested through an online form that asks for the date, the venue, the name of the event, the number of guests, the type of tent (party tent, gala tent, festival hall, storage hall, entrance or provisional structure), the furniture and the accessories, with space for remarks. The company promises a tailored quote in reply. Contact is also possible by phone on +41 44 215 94 20 or by email at info@lenzlinger-zelte.ch.

References

The references page filters projects by type: company events, private events, sports, music, trade fairs and long-term rentals or sales. The list includes Rammstein live at the Letzigrund, a historic Schwinget (Swiss wrestling festival) in Kilchberg, a tent village in Dinhard, a shareholders' meeting for a regional bank, a staff event, and one private event titled "Luxus und Charme im Grossformat" (luxury and charm on a large scale). The home page also features the Zugermesse and KTF Wyland. Most references are large public or corporate events. The gala tent page describes one of them in a little more detail: for a regional bank's general meeting and shareholders' party, the company supplied the tent infrastructure including a connection to the neighboring sports hall, which it also furnished with its banquet tables and chairs. For a wedding at a venue with a hall that is too small, that kind of link between building and tent is worth asking about.

Lenzlinger lists memberships in the Messerli Group, TECTUM Schweiz and EXPO EVENT Swiss LiveCom Association.

What the site does not settle

  • Tent sizes and capacity. The pages say tents come in many sizes but give no dimensions or guest counts. The quote form asks for your number of guests.
  • Tent prices. Only accessories and furniture have a price list; tents are quoted.
  • Weddings. Weddings are not named on the pages; the gala tent page and the private-event reference are the closest match. Say clearly that you are planning a wedding.
  • Language. The pages are in German and say nothing about English.
  • Area served and lead time. The site names no service area and no booking lead time. References include Kilchberg, Dinhard, the Letzigrund and the Zugermesse, but ask whether the team travels to your site and how far ahead to book.
  • Terms. Deposits and cancellation are not covered on these pages.

Who it suits

Lenzlinger suits couples planning a larger or more formal tent wedding who want a gala tent with flooring, lighting, decoration and heating included as standard, one supplier for furniture and accessories, and the reassurance of standby staff and an emergency line during the event. The published accessories price list helps with early budgeting.

It suits less well a couple who need tent prices before contact, an English-language website, or a very small, simple setup. For couples from abroad, the online quote form is the practical way in; add in the remarks field which language you want to plan in.
