FotoboxSchweiz.ch is a photo booth service of Wermuth Marketing und Events, Weinbergstrasse 6, 6340 Baar, with its warehouse in 8934 Knonau and Martin Wermuth named as owner. It delivers, sets up and dismantles the booth anywhere in Switzerland, for companies and private clients alike, and on request provides staff to look after it during the event. For a couple from abroad the most useful line on the homepage is the language list, set out in four languages: the team speaks German and Swiss German, French and Spanish, and, in the page's own words, "We speak ENGLISH". The menu also has an English section. Prices are not published; every booking starts with a personal quote.
What the booth is
The offer page explains the setup: a digital camera and a touchscreen built into a standing case, like a mobile photo studio, with a backdrop (which can be plain green so guests can be placed in other settings) and a studio flash. Prints come out of the integrated printer in 8-10 seconds. The homepage adds that the booth takes 1 - 10 people at once, "oder so viele, wie sich aufs Bild quetschen können" (or as many as can squeeze into the picture), and that props are especially popular at weddings.
The offer page lists what is provided: everything integrated in one box needing only a power socket; setup, configuration, instruction and dismantling; a single-lens reflex camera with an animated light ring in the customer's colors; a professional printer with prints in 8-10 seconds; a TTL flash; a touchscreen, in your own design if wanted; a second screen for a slideshow and for sending photos by email; a buzzer; backdrops, including personalized ones; greenscreen with special software; boomerangs and GIFs; video recordings; streaming of the photos onto a screen or TV; and your own layout on every print.
What a wedding gets
Several items on that list are aimed at weddings. The offer page includes "Fotoalbum für Hochzeiten inklusive" (a photo album for weddings included), a photo envelope that can carry your own layout, prints in 10x15 cm or as 5 x 15 cm film strips, high-quality accessories to suit any theme, and an online gallery for guests for 6 months. The homepage adds a few more options: printing photos from guests' own phones, an AI photo booth (the example given is turning guests into Vikings), several backdrops, a live slideshow and professional event photography on request.
The attended option is the service's distinguishing feature. The homepage offers the booth "mit/ohne Betreuung/Animation" (with or without an attendant), and the offer page describes the staff as friendly, lively, service-minded professionals who speak several languages. At a wedding with guests from several countries, an attendant who can explain the booth in English, French or Spanish is a real advantage.
Insurance and larger events
Insurance is listed as included, with a deductible of 500 francs; the page does not say what it covers. For large events the company can run up to three printers at once, printing a photo every 2 to 3 seconds on average, and it cites the ice hockey world championship in Switzerland, where it produced 16'500 "Visitenkarten" (business cards) for Denner. The homepage names Novartis, Google, CH Media and various event agencies as clients, and makes four claims in large type: unbeatable service, top quality, a lasting marketing effect and the highest recommendation rate.
The site also offers business portraits: the booth stays at a company for 5 working days, from Monday morning to Friday afternoon, with studio lighting, and the photos are then professionally retouched and delivered in print and web resolution. That is not a wedding service, but it shows the booth is used as a real portrait setup.
Occasions and other formats
The homepage lists the occasions it serves: weddings, birthdays, trade fairs, company events, Christmas parties, christenings and graduation parties. The menu separates private events (with a page of information for private clients) from company events, and has further pages on the booth as a marketing tool and on specials. The keyword block at the foot of each page also mentions a video booth and a mirror photo booth, which the pages themselves do not describe, so ask about them if a mirror booth would suit the room. For trade fairs the company can supply hostesses and sales staff, and for companies it can brand the booth itself. The same keyword block describes the business as a women-led company and a member of the WIR network, and the homepage adds, with a smiley, that ChatGPT ranks FotoboxSchweiz at the top for demanding customers.
How to book
There is no price list. The homepage asks couples to call 044 999 90 90 or email service@fotoboxschweiz.ch with four pieces of information: the type of event, where it takes place, how many people are expected (adults and children), and during which hours the booth should be attended. The company then prepares an individual offer. The contact page adds that viewings of the booth and returns are by arrangement only at the Knonau warehouse.
What the site leaves open
Beyond prices, the site does not publish a lead time, deposit or cancellation terms (there are AGB, general terms, linked in the footer). It does not say whether travel to a distant venue, such as a mountain resort, is charged extra, or how the price changes between an unattended booth and one with staff. The insurance deductible is stated but the cover is not, and the site does not say how long a rental lasts when the booth is left unattended, or when it is collected after a late party.
Who it suits
FotoboxSchweiz.ch suits couples who want the booth handled for them, delivered and set up anywhere in the country, and especially those with international guests: the stated languages and the option of an attendant make it one of the easier booth services to use in English. The included wedding album and the personalized envelope and layout give the prints a finished look. The keyword list on the site mentions Säuliamt, Zug, Zurich, Lucerne, Bern, Baden, Schwyz, Uster and Aargau, and the site states that it serves the whole country. The main caveat is that the cost is only known after a quote, so ask early and ask for the attended and unattended prices side by side.
