Photobooth Suisse

Photobooth Suisse is a photo booth rental business based at Rue Dancet 35 in Geneva, serving weddings, birthdays, baptisms, bachelorette parties and company evenings in Geneva, Lausanne and the surrounding region. Its team handles the logistics from setting up the booth at the venue to creating and publishing the photo gallery, and the site lists several booth styles, from a classic booth to a roving Polaroid service. It has run events in the area for more than a decade, according to its homepage.

What the service covers

The homepage sums up the offer in four points: full setup at the event venue, HD print quality, a secure space for downloading the images, and "une équipe dynamique et pleine d'énergie à votre service" (a dynamic, energetic team at your service). It describes the whole thing as a way for the couple to enjoy their event fully. The team, the site says, takes care of every logistical aspect, from installing the interactive photo station at the reception venue to creating and publishing the image gallery. The couple then downloads the pictures from a secure client area and shares them with guests.

The homepage states that the business "excelle dans l'animation d'événements, mariages et anniversaires à Genève ou Lausanne et dans les environs depuis plus d'une décennie" (has excelled in event entertainment, weddings and birthdays in Geneva or Lausanne and the surrounding area for more than a decade). No founding year or owner is named.

The booth range

The menu under "Nos Bornes" lists the booths on offer: L'Élégant Bois (a wooden booth), a 360° version, a version on wheels, a phone photo booth, the classic photo booth and the roving Polaroid ("Polaroïd ambulant"), plus two other entries called "En voiture Simone" and "L'animation qui fait mouche". Only the wooden booth has its own page of specifics, so couples should ask for the details of any other model.

The wooden booth's page lists wooden props, a white-label logo, professional photo quality and the photos delivered in digital form. Two extras are priced: a personalized memory book at CHF 125 before tax and a premium props trunk at CHF 250 before tax. The same page explains that the photo frame can be personalized with an online generator offering a wide choice of ready-made designs to which the couple adds their text, that the technical service can be reached 24 hours a day during the event, and that the photos are stored and made available free of charge for download in high definition, to share on Facebook or Instagram or to reprint.

The wedding page

The wedding page describes the booth as a turnkey solution, elegant, playful and accessible to everyone. Its picture of the moment is simple: in twos, threes or groups, guests put on a hat, pull their best smile or face, and "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, clic, clac : c'est dans la boîte !". The prints come from an unlimited printing option.

The page places the booth alongside the photographer and the DJ rather than instead of them, and suggests setting it up where it becomes a focal point for laughter during the evening, inviting parents and grandparents onto the dance floor and in front of the booth. On props there is a small inconsistency: the homepage has a section headed "Accessoires inclus" (props included), while the wedding page says the props are those the couple provides, with an accessory kit available as an option. That is worth settling in the quote.

Packages and flexibility

The other occasion pages fill in how the rental is put together. The baptism page says the business delivers the booth that was booked, with the chosen options, for the length of time the client wants, ready to use. The private-party page describes packages that can include digital photos or paper prints, with or without props, and "en autonomie ou avec un animateur" (self-run or with a host). It also says the photo experience can be fully personalized to the theme and decoration of the event, and that besides the unlimited prints, the digital version of the photos is sent by email.

Contact and quotes

The site publishes no rental prices, only the two extras above. It invites couples to request "un devis personnalisé" (a personalized quote) through its online form. The contact line runs "7j/7 de 7h à 22h" (seven days a week, 7 am to 10 pm), on +41 79 533 67 73 or contact@photobooth-suisse.ch.

What past clients said

The homepage shows four short testimonials, from clients in Versoix, Lausanne, Carouge and Nyon. One, from Juan in Nyon, is about a wedding: "Le photobooth a été l'âme de notre mariage" (the photo booth was the soul of our wedding). The others praise the photos and the guests' reaction.

What the site does not settle

The site is in French and does not mention English. The private-party page offers packages with or without an animator, but it does not price either, so a couple should say in the quote request whether they want someone from the team at the booth all evening. It gives no prices for the booths themselves, no booking lead time, cancellation rule or space requirement, and it does not say whether the booths can stand outdoors. Some pages of the site also carry leftover template text, and the wedding page refers to the business by another domain name, which is a reason to confirm the details of any offer in writing.

Who it suits

Photobooth Suisse suits couples marrying around Geneva or Lausanne who want a choice of booth styles, a secure download space for the photos and a team that handles setup and the gallery. The roving Polaroid and the wooden booth give options for an elegant reception or a garden party.

It suits less well couples who want a price up front or English confirmed on the website. The site's own information is patchy beyond the wooden booth, so a phone call during the long daily contact hours is the quickest way to get clear answers.
