Red Booth
Tap a star to rate
Red Booth rents premium photo booths for weddings, galas and private parties across French-speaking Switzerland, with pages for Lausanne, Nyon, Geneva, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and the Vaud Riviera. It publishes its prices, explains exactly what each package includes, and says its technicians speak French and English at a minimum, which makes it easy to deal with for a couple planning a Lake Geneva wedding from abroad.
The three formulas
The Nyon and Lausanne pages set out the offer in the same terms.
- Click & Collect: CHF 525 with 400 prints or CHF 665 with 800 prints. The couple collects the booth, installs it and returns it. Props and HD digital photos are included, and the booth runs in full self-service. The site pitches it at events with simple logistics.
- Livraison (delivery): CHF 675 with 400 prints or CHF 815 with 800 prints. The team handles delivery, installation, technical support on site and collection. The FAQ confirms that this formula includes a technician who delivers, sets up and stays available during the event. The site calls it the turnkey option.
- Sur Mesure (made to measure): priced on request, for exceptional events, with a custom duration, full branding and creative support. The site promises a quote within 24 hours.
The wedding page describes the technician's role in more detail: the person keeps the booth running, helps guests with the creative options, handles the instant prints and keeps a cheerful atmosphere around the booth for the whole reception.
Equipment and personalization
Red Booth describes all its equipment as professional studio level: full-frame cameras, wide-aperture lenses, adjustable continuous LED lighting and latest-generation thermal sublimation printers. Each piece is doubled as a backup at the event, which the site says guarantees no interruption. For a wedding at a remote venue, a spare camera and printer on site is a real reassurance.
Every print is personalized. The FAQ lists a monogram, a logo, the date, a hashtag and typography matched to the couple's own design, and says a mockup is sent for approval before the event. The wedding page adds frames with first names and date, interactive backgrounds and themed decor, colors to match the wedding palette, props and accessories, and a private digital album for all guests. Prints are made on premium photo paper.
Two features go beyond the prints. The wedding page describes an interactive digital guest book, where each guest can add a written message or wish to the photo. And photos can be uploaded to the couple's digital gallery, sent to guests' phones by QR code, or shared automatically on Instagram, Facebook and other networks with the wedding hashtag.
How many photos, how much space
The wedding page FAQ gives numbers that help with the choice between 400 and 800 prints. It says a booth can easily produce 150 to 300 photos during a standard 4-hour reception, depending on the number of guests and how engaged they are, and that 100 very engaged guests can reach 400 to 500 photos. The Nyon FAQ adds that an event of 100 to 200 guests typically generates 300 to 600 paper prints and 400 to 800 photos in the digital gallery, which the couple receives after the event.
The booth needs only about 2m x 2m, according to the wedding page, so it fits indoor rooms as well as gardens. On timing, the page suggests the cocktail hour between ceremony and dinner as the ideal moment, while noting the booth can stay active through dinner and dancing.
Venues, weather and language
The site says Red Booth works regularly at some of the best-known venues in French-speaking Switzerland: Beau-Rivage Palace in Ouchy, Lausanne Palace, Royal Savoy, Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, the Lavaux wine estates, and Vaud castles including Vufflens, Oron, La Sarraz, Coppet, Prangins and Chillon, as well as private villas. It says that experience lets it handle each venue's constraints: access, power supply, staging and installation times. For outdoor events it promises a systematic weather "plan B" and suitable equipment, and names wine estates, private gardens, panoramic terraces and mountain chalets as places it covers. The blog includes an article on mountain weddings in Verbier, Crans-Montana and Villars.
On language, the site says its technicians are recruited on strict criteria including photographic skill, a hotel-style sense of service, cultural adaptability and command of languages, with French and English as the minimum, and that multilingual teams are deployed on international events. The site itself is in French.
The company cites more than 150 events in French-speaking Switzerland since 2020, and a teaser for its Lausanne page adds more than 45,000 printed photos, with the Fairmont Montreux Palace, EHL Lausanne and the Young Hospitality Summit among the references.
Booking and terms
Booking is by WhatsApp on +41 77 467 59 68 or by email to contact@redvision.ch, with a personalized quote within 24 hours. The FAQ recommends booking at least 15 days ahead, and 2 months ahead to be sure of the date, especially for weddings and large events. The cancellation terms are published: a full refund up to 14 days before the event, 50% between 7 and 14 days, and no refund within 7 days.
What the site leaves open
The Sur Mesure formula has no published price. The site does not say how many hours the Click & Collect and Livraison prices cover, where the Click & Collect booth is picked up, or whether delivery to a mountain resort or to Geneva adds a travel charge. It does not describe the "plan B" for bad weather beyond saying there always is one, so a couple planning a terrace or garden reception should ask what it involves. The digital gallery is promised after the event without a stated delivery time.
Who it suits
Red Booth suits couples marrying in Lausanne, on the Riviera, in Lavaux or around Nyon and Geneva who want clear prices, a technician at the reception and staff who can speak English with guests. The Livraison formula is the obvious choice for a destination couple, since it removes transport and setup. Click & Collect is cheaper but needs someone with a car and time before and after the wedding. The caveats are the lack of a published duration for the standard formulas and a firm cancellation policy close to the date, and space of about 2m x 2m that the venue must provide.
