Selfie4you rents a compact photo booth called AURA from Fully, in Valais, for weddings, birthdays and company events. It is a collect-and-install service: the couple picks the booth up in Fully in a wheeled hard case, sets it up in a few minutes with the illustrated manual that comes with it, and brings it back afterwards. That keeps the price low, and the home page publishes it: from CHF 350 for the digital version and from CHF 500 with a printer.

The AURA booth

The home page describes AURA as compact, modern and intuitive, suited to a wedding as much as a birthday or a company event. It is collected in Fully, easy to transport and installed in minutes thanks to the illustrated manual.

Every rental includes:

  • unlimited photos
  • sharing by email, SMS or QR code
  • adjustable LED lighting
  • a WiFi connection
  • the illustrated manual

The options are:

  • a printer with 150 prints
  • a personalized design
  • a kit of glasses and hats
  • a 4G mobile connection
  • a live private gallery
  • an audio guest book

The difference between the two base versions is set out in the FAQ. The digital version takes unlimited photos that guests collect in digital form; the printer version also prints photos directly during the event. For a wedding, the page's own wedding formula highlights the audio guest book and the personalized design as the extras that get all the guests involved.

Sharing by email, SMS or QR code runs over the booth's WiFi connection, and the live private gallery lets photos appear online during the party. At a barn, a mountain restaurant or a garden without reliable WiFi, the 4G option is the one to ask about, since the page lists it separately from the standard connection. The birthday and company formulas on the site use the same booth, with the company version pitched at staff parties, trade fairs and client events.

The audio guest book is worth a moment. Guests record voice messages during the event, and the couple receives the audio files by email after the rental. For a wedding where grandparents or friends abroad cannot write in the couple's language, a spoken message is an easy way for everyone to leave something.

Price

The home page gives two starting prices: CHF 350 for the digital version with unlimited photos, and CHF 500 for the version with a printer and 150 prints. The FAQ says the final price depends on the options chosen, such as a personalized design, printing or the audio guest book. The prices of the individual options are not on the home page; a separate Tarifs page is linked in the menu, and a guide on the site discusses what a photo booth costs in French-speaking Switzerland.

How the pickup works

This is the point a couple from abroad has to plan around. The home page says it plainly: the booth is not delivered to the venue. It has to be collected in Fully, where it is prepared in a solid hard case with wheels, which the FAQ says makes it easy to transport in a suitable car. The address given is Chemin de Provence 1D, 1926 Fully.

Setup is designed for people with no technical background. The FAQ says a step-by-step illustrated manual comes with the equipment to guide the installation, and the reviews on the page back that up: one guest calls the manual very clear and says the equipment was ready, another mentions quick installation.

In practice somebody in the wedding party needs a car big enough for the case, time to drive to Fully before the wedding, and time to return it after. For a venue in Verbier, Crans-Montana or Nendaz, that means two extra drives around the wedding, so it makes sense to arrange the pickup with a local friend or a planner rather than leave it to the day before.

Where it is used

The page names the places it serves from Fully: Martigny, Sion, Sierre, Monthey, Verbier, Crans-Montana, Conthey, Saxon, Chamoson, Riddes, Saillon, Orsières, Vétroz, Veysonnaz and Nendaz. Because the couple collects the booth, these are areas the business serves rather than delivers to. The site also carries a guide on distances from Fully and how the rental works across the canton.

Guides on the site

Selfie4you publishes a set of guides that are useful even before booking: a complete guide to photo booths for weddings in Valais (with or without a printer, personalization, installation and a checklist), a guide to renting a booth for a wedding in Valais (recommended formula, options, placement and timing), a guide to rustic weddings in barns, tents and wine estates, a guide to what a booth costs in French-speaking Switzerland, and an explanation of the difference between the words photobooth and photomaton. They are in French.

Reviews

The page shows a 5.0 rating from 19 Google reviews and quotes three. A wedding client, Sandy V., praises impeccable service and a booth that was easy to install, and says the guests loved it. Christophe T. says the equipment was ready and the manual very clear, for a birthday party. Mickaël C. mentions quality photos and quick installation at a company event.

What the site leaves open

The home page does not list the price of each option, the length of the rental (for example whether a Friday pickup and Monday return is standard), or a deposit. It links general terms and conditions but does not summarize cancellation rules. It does not say whether the booth needs a power socket or how much space it takes, both things to check with the venue. The site is in French only and does not mention English, so couples who do not write French should ask through the contact page or by phone on +41 79 233 47 42 whether the booking can be handled in English. The availability check and booking run online.

Who it suits

Selfie4you suits couples marrying in Valais on a controlled budget who have a car and a helper, and who are happy to set up a booth themselves in exchange for a low, published price. The audio guest book and the optional printer make it a complete package for a small or medium wedding. It is less suited to couples flying in shortly before the day with nobody local to collect and return the case, or to couples who want an attendant at the reception. The French-only site is the other caveat.
