Vintage-Photobooth rents handmade photo booths in a vintage style, and an audio guest book, from Waldkirch in the canton of St. Gallen. It is run by a married couple, Alain Dominic Kübli and Belinda, who design and build the booths themselves. The price page is complete and clear: three booths from CHF 250 to CHF 750 per event day, an audio guest book at CHF 200, and a short list of extras. The price page lists three booths.

Fotobox "Slim Jim", CHF 250 per event day. A photo booth with a 12 MP tablet front camera and ring-light illumination, a touchscreen, a layout chosen from templates, download by QR code, photos sent by email, an online gallery, instruction at pickup and phone support. It is also the booth that lists photos, GIFs and slow-motion videos.

Fotobox ohne Drucker (without printer), CHF 550 per event day. A photo booth with a reflex camera and studio flash, described as lighting like in a photo studio, a touchscreen, a template layout, QR-code download, email, an online gallery, instruction at pickup and phone support.

Fotobox mit Drucker (with printer), CHF 750 per event day. The same reflex camera and studio flash setup, plus a printer in 10cm x 15cm format with 300 prints included.

For a wedding, the choice is mostly about prints. The CHF 750 booth is the one that gives guests a paper photo on the night; the other two work digitally, with QR codes, email and the online gallery. The Slim Jim is the budget entry point with a tablet camera rather than a reflex camera, and the only one of the three that lists GIFs and slow-motion clips.

The audio guest book

The audio guest book, which the menu calls Audio-Gästebuch Lotte, costs CHF 200 per event day. The price page lists high-quality recording, a vintage look, the audio files as a download, a personal greeting message, instruction at pickup, phone support and battery operation, so it can stand anywhere in the venue. One Google review quoted on the site describes a great experience with it: everything worked smoothly, contact was very friendly and the recordings are "einfach unbezahlbare Erinnerungen" (simply priceless memories). Another calls it a great vintage telephone that was easy to use and a lot of fun for the guests.

Extras

The extras page lists three add-ons. A KI-Fotobox (AI photo booth) costs CHF 30 and offers more than 170 motifs with a result in 10 seconds. The Fotobox-Spiel (photo booth game) is sold for CHF 25, with 55 different challenges designed to encourage more photos, and is reusable. The Kostümkiste (costume chest) costs CHF 50 per event day and holds glasses, hats, wigs and signs to hold up.

On layouts, the price page says couples choose from many templates and that names and date are adapted free of charge. A completely individual layout can be created on request for an extra charge.

Pickup, return and delivery

The standard arrangement is pickup in Waldkirch. The address is Arneggerstrasse 22, 9205 Waldkirch. Pickup runs on Thursday and Friday from 16:00 to 19:00, and return on Monday and Tuesday from 16:00 to 19:00. Both must always be arranged in advance, and other days and times are possible on request. So a Saturday wedding means collecting on Thursday or Friday and returning on Monday or Tuesday, which gives a full weekend with the booth.

Delivery is available too. The price page says that on request the team delivers the booth, sets it up and adjusts everything, and collects it after the event. The price is given on request and depends on the distance to the venue, and the page points out that the journey is charged 4 times: there and back for setup, and there and back for dismantling. For a couple from abroad without a car or a local helper, that is the option to ask for, with the venue address in the first message.

Reviews on the site back up the practical side. A wedding couple writes that delivery and setup went without problems, that the photos were of very good quality and that the costume chest with wigs, hats and glasses was great fun. Another reviewer says the booth was set up in at most 10 minutes, and a third that the organization, pickup and return with Alain were completely uncomplicated. Company clients appear too: the Raiffeisenbank Regio Uzwil booked the booth for an autumn market and found the setup and dismantling instructions easy to follow, and a medical supply firm has booked it twice for its staff party.

The about page introduces Alain and Belinda as a cheerful married couple with a passion for memorable moments. Their booths are self-designed and handmade, and the first one was originally built for an event of their own, which is where they realized how much fun and emotion such moments create. The page lists what they see as their strengths: built with love by themselves, a stylish vintage design, personal support and high-quality technology.

Booking and contact

The contact page promises a non-binding, free inquiry, a reply usually within 24 hours and personal advice, and lists fast handling, personal advice and transparent prices as reasons to ask. The form asks for name, email, phone, the event date, the event location if known and a short description. The site is in German only and does not mention English. It does not say how many hours an event day covers, whether anyone from the team stays at the event, or what delivery costs to a given venue. Deposit and cancellation terms sit in the linked AGB rather than on the price or contact pages.
