A designer brand with a Zurich atelier and a St. Moritz shop

Lesunja Fine Jewellery is the brand of jewelry designer Lisa Lesunja. Its About page says she has designed and handcrafted pieces for over 15 years in her jewelry shops in Zurich, St. Moritz and New York, that she develops two collections a year, and that her collections have premiered several times at New York and Paris fashion weeks. For couples, the site offers two things: an online shop with an Engagement & Wedding section, and a Wedding Rings Workshop in which a couple forge their own rings under a goldsmith's guidance. The site is published in English and German.

The legal notice gives the company as lesunja.com AG at Europaallee, Lagerstrasse 42, 8004 Zurich, with the phone number +41 76 440 74 77 and the e-mail address art@lesunja.ch. The homepage also names a store at Plazza da Scoula 10 in St. Moritz, and the ring-size guide invites customers to "our atelier at Europaallee in Zurich or to our shop in St. Moritz" to be measured.

The Wedding Rings Workshop

The workshop is sold as a product in the shop, the "Lesunja Wedding Rings Workshop", at SFr. 500.00. Its description, in the site's own English, opens with "Everyone is his partner`s lucky blacksmith. Forge wedding rings yourself." It explains the process in three steps: under professional guidance from Lesunja Goldschmiede, the couple discuss in advance which ring design they want to make; Lesunja then submits an offer; and then it is time to get down to business and become "the lucky smith of your partner". The final line sets out the price structure: "Price depending on ring model and material + course fee".

So the SFr. 500.00 is the course fee only. The rings themselves are priced separately according to the design and the metal, and the offer comes after the design discussion. The page has a "Book a Call" button next to the booking button, which is the natural first step for a couple who want to talk the design through before committing.

Below the description, the page sets out three brand promises. Custom Design is presented as a one-of-a-kind design experience for a personal statement that mass-produced jewelry cannot make. Best Swiss Quality is defined as permanently meeting customer requirements with the best materials. And under Affordable Price, the brand says its motto is that you can create something nice for everyone's budget. The About page adds that preserving Swiss artisanship is close to Lisa Lesunja's heart, together with reinterpreting classical designs for today.

The page does not say how long the workshop lasts, where it takes place (Zurich or St. Moritz), or how far in advance it needs to be booked. Those are the questions to raise on the call.

Wedding rings in the shop

The Lesunja Wedding Rings collection page introduces itself with the line that some days come only once in a life and should be celebrated with worthy jewelry, and describes its wedding designs as reflecting "a covenant of love, hope, and happiness." The Engagement & Wedding section describes "radiant bridal rings" and "exquisite wedding bands", handcrafted and "made to last for generations."

The shop's filters show the range. Materials include rose gold, silver, white gold, yellow gold, palladium, platinum and wood, and the price filters run from under 500 francs to over 15,000 francs, with some pieces priced by request. The wedding-ring collection mixes bands in platinum, rose gold and silver with pearl earrings and necklaces, so a bride can shop for rings and wedding-day jewelry in the same place. The Engagement & Wedding section also links to a Wedding and Engagement Ring Designer page, titled "Design Yours Online".

The wider collections include Magnifique, Ocean, Sepia, St. Moritz, Contemporary Mojo, Hidden Secrets, Carbon, Hair Jewellery and Men Jewellery, among others, and the brand also sells a St. Moritz Mountain Watch.

Ring sizes and resizing

The ring-size guide is useful for couples who order from abroad. It explains that sizes follow the Swiss and European standard (the inner circumference in millimeters), shows how to measure an existing ring or a finger with a strip of paper, and recommends measuring in the evening at room temperature and choosing a half to a full size larger for wide bands. It also gives a conversion table. One point matters before ordering: many pieces are one of a kind, and resizing is possible for some designs but not others, in particular eternity rings and pavé settings. The guide asks customers to check before they order.

Shipping, packaging and payment

The shipping policy is spelled out on the workshop page:

  • Within Switzerland: 2-3 business days
  • Within Europe: 3-5 business days
  • Worldwide: 7-10 business days, depending on the destination

These are estimates, and customs can cause delays. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and paid by the customer, and all packages are shipped and insured with FedEx, with a tracking number sent by e-mail. Every piece comes gift-wrapped free of charge, with a small locally inspired gift. The footer links pages on payment in installments, the refund policy and sustainability.

Events

The site runs an events page with styling sessions at Europaallee, classic-car and jewelry events and themed soirées, and the header announces a vernissage. The navigation also lists a New Jewellery Style Guide and a journal.

What the site leaves open

  • Workshop logistics. Duration, location and booking lead time for the forging workshop are not stated.
  • Production time for rings. The shipping times apply to items in stock; the site gives no time for making a commissioned or workshop pair.
  • St. Moritz hours. The homepage's business listing for the Zurich address (Lagerstrasse 42/79) gives opening hours of 10:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday; no hours are given for the St. Moritz shop.
  • Who teaches the workshop. The page names "Lesunja Goldschmiede" but no individual goldsmith.

Who it suits

Lesunja suits couples who want the experience of forging their own wedding rings in Switzerland and like a designer brand with a St. Moritz connection. The English-language site, the published workshop fee, worldwide insured shipping and a clear ring-size guide make it easy to begin planning from abroad.

It suits less well couples who need every cost fixed up front, since the ring price depends on the design and metal and comes as an offer after the first discussion. Couples on a tight schedule should use the "Book a Call" option early to confirm workshop dates and timing.
