Creabeck is a bakery and caterer based at Luzernerstrasse 101 in 6333 Hünenberg-See, in the canton of Zug, run by Creabeck AG. Its online shop sells cakes, apéro platters, bread and snacks, and the cake section is headed for customers "im Raum Zug, Rotkreuz, Hünenberg, Baar, Cham", in the Zug, Rotkreuz, Hünenberg, Baar and Cham area. Among its cake categories are Hochzeitstorten (wedding cakes) and Hochzeits Cookies (wedding cookies). What sets it apart from most wedding cake makers in Switzerland is that the cakes are sold through a webshop with prices shown, rather than only on request.

The cake shop

The cake section introduces itself as cakes for every occasion (Torten für jeden Anlass), and invites customers to browse a range that runs from photo prints and motif cakes to elaborate 3D figures, with decorations from simple but effective to very elaborate and delicate. The shop shows "325 Artikel gefunden", 325 items found, spread over categories that include round cakes, photo cakes, motif cakes, children's birthday cakes, christening and communion cakes, heart cakes, number cakes, cakes and patisserie by the meter, and mini patisserie, plus the wedding cakes and wedding cookies.

The one wedding cake shown on the first page of the shop is № 3244, the "Hochzeitstorte - Grünwald-Glamour Torte", described as "der Trend zur Hochzeit in Grün", the trend for a wedding in green. It is listed at CHF 280, and the note says the price includes flowers but not the cake topper. The rest of the wedding range sits in its own category, which the page links to but does not display.

Sizes and prices that help with planning

Because the shop lists sizes by guest count, a couple can get a realistic idea of scale before writing to anyone. The heart cakes (№ 1539, Herz Torte Blau, listed at CHF 145) come in four sizes: a 22cm heart for 10 to 12 people, 27cm for 14 to 16, 33cm for 20 to 22 and 38cm for 28 to 30. A two-tier cake in the children's range (№ 5127) shows how the tiered sizes work: 20 people on tiers of 16cm and 22cm, 25 people on 18cm and 24cm, 30 people on 20cm and 26cm, with a single 20cm tier for 10 people, listed at CHF 166.

The photo cake is listed at CHF 78, with a small version of 16cm x 24cm for 8 to 10 people and a large one of 25.5cm x 35.5cm for 18 to 20 people, with the flavor and the photo chosen by the customer. A photo of the couple on a sheet cake for the evening party is one way to use it. Other listed prices include a buttercream cake with chocolate mousse for 10 people at CHF 118, a fruit and quark slice for about 15 to 20 people at CHF 67.60, and a raspberry cake with almond sponge on a crisp Japonais base at CHF 49.90. A motif cake with figs and physalis is CHF 129.

The page shows one price per item, although several items come in more than one size, so the price of a larger size, and of a multi-tier wedding cake for a full guest list, has to be checked in the shop or asked.

Personal wishes and sweet extras

The shop is built for ordering online, but it leaves room for personal requests. On the christening cake the page says customers can tell the bakery their wishes and ideas "im Text und Bildfeld", in the text and image field of the order, and the photo cake is made with a photo and flavor of the customer's choice. Whether a wedding cake design can be changed in the same way, or designed from scratch, is not stated on the page.

For a dessert table, the Crea Cup's Mix platter holds 15 pieces, five each of alcohol-free orange tiramisu, chocolate mousse and fruit quark, for CHF 46.80. The wedding cookies are a separate category, not displayed on the cake page. Elsewhere in the menu are chocolate gifts and, in the seasonal range, gingerbread with a photo print (Lebkuchen mit Fotodruck), both possible ideas for guest favors if the bakery will make them outside the season. The menu also has sections for shipped cakes and shipped specialties (Versand Kuchen, Spezialitäten Versand), so some products travel by post, though the page does not say which.

Apéro and catering

The shop menu shows that Creabeck is also an apéro caterer: canapés, party breads and meter-long breads, meat and cheese platters, mini and apéro rolls, warm apéro pastries, fine finger food, a cold buffet, desserts and apéro drinks, alongside sandwiches, salads and breakfast items. For a civil ceremony followed by a drinks reception in the Zug area, cake and apéro could come from one order.

The footer links to delivery conditions (Lieferkonditionen), terms and conditions, opening hours, and a drinks and breakfast menu for Hünenberg See as well. There is also a menu entry for delivery fees for companies.

Contact and language

Creabeck lists Luzernerstrasse 101, 6333 Hünenberg-See, phone 041 788 01 41 and info@creabeck.ch. The shop is published in German, and nothing on the page says whether orders or questions can be handled in English.

What the page leaves open

The cake page does not state the order lead time for a wedding cake, the delivery fees for private customers (the delivery conditions page linked in the footer may cover them), or how far outside the named towns the bakery delivers. It does not list flavors for the wedding cakes or say whether tastings are offered. The heading names the Zug area, so couples marrying elsewhere should ask before ordering.

Who it suits

Creabeck suits couples marrying around Zug, Hünenberg, Cham, Baar or Rotkreuz who want to see prices and portion sizes up front and are happy to order a cake through a webshop, perhaps with the apéro from the same supplier. The published guest counts per size are genuinely useful for budgeting.

The limits are local reach and the design approach. The range leans toward printed and motif cakes for many occasions, with one wedding design on the main page, so couples after a one-off design built with a pastry chef over several meetings should ask how far Creabeck goes beyond its catalog.
