What TopEvents.Rent offers
TopEvents.Rent is an event rental company whose catalog runs from party marquees to designer furniture, catering equipment and event technology. Its marquee page, "Festzelte mieten für grössere Veranstaltungen" (party marquees for larger events), describes a modular tent system and says plainly that the tents are suited to club parties, company events and weddings with many guests. The site quotes prices in Swiss francs, is published in German and French, and carries the tagline "atmosphere. with impact".
The marquee is only one part of what the company rents. The catalog is split into furniture (chairs, bar stools, tables, lounge, outdoor), catering (porcelain, cutlery, glass, serving, table and buffet accessories, and warming and cooling systems), "Erlebnis" (experience), event technology and mobile structures. A couple can therefore order the tent, the chairs, the tables, the glassware and the plates from the same account instead of juggling several rental firms. The footer names the company as a member of a group that also includes Rent.Group, Party.Rent, Fair.Rent and Office.Rent.
The modular marquee system
The tent modules can be built in different lengths and widths, so that, in the site's words, there are practically no limits to the shape of the tent. The page gives the figures in two ranges.
The narrower range has spans of 4.0m, 6.0m and 8.0m, with a bay length of 3.0m that can be extended as far as needed. The page's examples are a tent of 4.0m by 9.0m or of 8.0m by 12.0m.
The wider range has spans of 10.0m, 12.0m, 15.0m and 20.0m, with a bay length of 5.0m, again extendable. The examples given are 10.0m by 15.0m or 12.0m by 20.0m.
For a wedding this matters in practice. A couple with a long, narrow garden can order a narrow tent in many bays; a couple with an open meadow can go wide. The page also lists named tent models in the product grid: the Festzelt, the Festzelt Arcum, a round tent (Rundzelt) and an octagonal tent (Octagonalzelt), each marked "Preis auf Anfrage" (price on request). Its short FAQ says the choice between the round and octagonal forms is worth thinking about in terms of the style a couple wants.
The company offers to help work out the right tent size, and to match the interior to the needs and size of the event. Its planning checklist is short and useful: choose the tent type, plan combinations with tent walls, plan the floor area from the guest count, and get in touch early with any questions.
Colors, walls, linings and floors
The tents, roof covers and side walls come in three finishes, according to the page: weiss (white, light-transmitting), weiss-opaque (white, light-blocking) and transparent. Light-transmitting white is the classic daytime look. The opaque version keeps daylight out, which gives full control over lighting for an evening reception. Transparent walls keep the view of the garden, lake or mountains in the room.
Separately, the company rents interior ceilings made of white fabric panels ("Schöne Innenhimmel aus weissen Stoffbahnen"), which turn the underside of the roof from bare structure into a draped ceiling. Anyone who wants a completely free design can specify where the window areas go.
A tent floor is offered on request for the different tent sizes, and the accessories list adds lighting, heating, carpet and furniture. The page also states that the tent can be made barrier-free, which is worth knowing for a wedding with older guests or a guest in a wheelchair. The FAQ adds that the tent comes with fixing accessories such as Spannfix systems and rubber tensioners, and the product grid shows those tensioners from CHF 0.20 each before VAT.
Furniture and catering equipment
The furniture side lists a long run of brands, among them Arper, Avolt, bene, Knoll International, Lapalma, Sedus, USM Haller, Walter Knoll and Hay Denmark, with filters by color, design style and designer. Much of it is office and conference furniture, but the chairs, tables, lounge and outdoor categories are the ones a wedding would draw on.
The catering category covers porcelain, cutlery, glass, serving, table and buffet accessories, and warming and cooling systems. For a marquee wedding with an outside caterer, that means the tableware and the equipment to keep food hot or cold can come from the same supplier as the tent.
How to order
There are two routes on the page. For marquees, the company invites couples to fill in its online tent inquiry form, after which it goes through the ideas and wishes step by step. For the wider catalog, a customer creates a free account (first name, last name, company, phone, email and a password), logs in and orders. Before browsing, the site asks for a delivery destination: Germany and Switzerland are listed first, followed by a full list of countries, and then a postcode. A contact box offers email or phone for individual advice, though the page itself does not print the address or number.
What the page does not settle
The marquees carry no published price: every tent model is marked price on request, and the only prices shown are for small fixings. The page gives no guest capacities per tent size, only the advice to plan the area from the guest count. It says nothing about delivery charges, setup and dismantling crews, minimum rental periods, cancellation terms or how far ahead a summer weekend has to be booked. It does not name a depot or a region it covers within Switzerland. Nothing on the page mentions English, so a couple planning from abroad should ask whether a quote and the on-site coordination can be handled in English; the site itself runs in German and French.
Who it suits
TopEvents.Rent suits a couple who want to rent the marquee and the contents of the marquee from one source: tent, floor, lining, heating, lighting, furniture and tableware. The modular system is a real advantage on an awkward plot, and the three wall finishes give genuine design choice. The step-by-step inquiry also helps a couple who have never planned a tent before and need guidance on size. It is less suited to a couple who want a published price to compare against other tent firms, or who prefer to deal with a small local business on the phone, since the ordering runs through an online account and an inquiry form.
