H100

H100 is the shared home of three furniture shops at Hohlstrasse 100 in Zurich: Bogen33 for vintage pieces and garden furniture, Viadukt*3 for wooden tables and chairs, and Memorie.ch for re-editions of design classics. Alongside selling, it rents furniture in Zurich and across Switzerland and rents out H100 itself as an event location, which gives a wedding couple two quite different ways to use it.
Three shops under one roof
The homepage welcomes visitors to H100 as "dem gemeinsamen Zuhause von Bogen33, Viadukt3 und Memorie.ch" (the shared home of Bogen33, Viadukt3 and Memorie.ch). Each shop has its own specialty, its own phone number and its own email address, but all three sit at the same address and keep the same hours.
Bogen33 stands for vintage furniture and design classics from the 1950s to the 80s, plus an extensive range of garden furniture. For a summer wedding, that garden range is the part to look at first.
Viadukt*3 describes itself as the specialist for antique and new wooden tables and wooden chairs. The range includes a wide variety of Beizenstühle (inn chairs), Biedermeier tables and newly produced solid-wood classics by horgenglarus and Thonet. If you picture long tables and simple wooden chairs for a dinner, this is the shop whose stock matches.
Memorie.ch is both an online shop and a showroom for re-editions of major design classics from the 30s to the 80s, as well as new design from European furniture manufacturers.
All three are open Tuesday to Friday from 11 to 18:30 and on Saturday from 10 to 17:00. The contact details are listed separately: Bogen33 on +41 44 400 00 33 and info@bogen33.ch, Viadukt*3 on +41 44 400 10 50 and info@viadukt3.ch, and Memorie.ch on +41 44 261 42 24 and info@memorie.ch. For H100 as a whole, the header gives info@h100.ch and +41 44 400 00 33.
The Openstorage warehouse
Next door is H100 Openstorage, a warehouse that the homepage says presents, on 1400 m², "eine schweizweit einzigartige Sammlung an Vintage-Möbeln und Designklassikern" (a collection of vintage furniture and design classics unique in Switzerland). The range runs from original mid-century icons to H100's own re-editions, and the page invites visitors to discover, rummage and linger. The menu describes it as a warehouse sale (Lagerverkauf).
The warehouse is at Hohlstrasse 122, which the page describes as 100 m from the shop, down the ramp. Opening hours are short: Friday from 16:00 to 18:30 and Saturday from 12:00 to 17:00. The page adds that further appointments can be arranged in advance, which matters for a couple who flies in for a planning trip and cannot be there on a Friday afternoon.
There is also a Design Market by H100 at Viaduktstrasse 81, 8005 Zurich, listed in the footer with the same weekday and Saturday hours and a note that appointments by arrangement are possible at any time.
Renting furniture for a wedding
The rental offer appears in the menu under Vermietung, with the line "Möbel mieten in Zürich und schweizweit" (rent furniture in Zurich and throughout Switzerland). The homepage does not go further than that. Which pieces are available to rent, how long a rental runs, whether delivery and collection are included and what they cost are not stated on the homepage.
What the homepage does show is a Wunschliste (wish list) feature. According to the site, its system automatically sends all the information and prices for the objects you have asked about. For a couple planning remotely, that is a practical way to shortlist pieces and get figures in writing without a visit.
The value of renting here rather than from a general event hire company is the stock itself. Instead of standard banquet chairs, the pieces are vintage originals, Swiss inn chairs, solid-wood tables and design re-editions. Couples who want a lounge corner with mid-century armchairs, a garden set for an outdoor aperitif, or a run of wooden chairs with character can see what the shops actually hold. Because the shops also sell, ask how rental stock is kept separate from what is on sale, so a piece you have chosen is still there on the day.
H100 as an event location
The same menu has a second rental line: "H100 als Eventlocation mieten" (rent H100 as an event location). There is also a Gastronomie entry listing outdoor and indoor areas (Aussen- & Innenbereiche). The homepage gives no capacity, no floor plan, no catering arrangement and no price for the location, so a couple considering a wedding party there needs the event location page or a direct inquiry. The questions to ask are the usual ones: how many guests the space holds seated and standing, whether you bring your own caterer, what time the evening must end, and whether the furniture around you can be part of the setting.
Language, access and practical points
The site is in German. It does not say whether staff work in English, so email is the easiest first step.
For getting there, the homepage gives the addresses (Hohlstrasse 100 and Hohlstrasse 122, both 8004 Zurich) and a map link (Finde uns hier), but no directions, public transport details or parking information. Couples visiting from abroad should look up the route themselves before a planning trip, and for a wedding elsewhere in Switzerland they should ask what delivery costs, since the rental line promises Switzerland-wide service without pricing it on the homepage.
The site also has a newsletter and a Möbelabo, a furniture subscription that sends new arrivals and offers regularly, a useful way to watch the stock in the months before a wedding.
What the homepage leaves open
The homepage publishes no rental prices, rental periods, deposit or damage terms, and no cancellation rules. It does not say whether H100 sets up the furniture at the venue or only delivers it. The event location has no published capacity or price. None of these are unusual gaps for a shop's homepage, but they are exactly what a couple needs before committing, and the rental and event location pages or an email to info@h100.ch are the place to settle them.
Who it suits
H100 suits couples who care about how the furniture looks and want pieces with some history: a Zurich wedding with a lounge of design classics, a garden reception with vintage outdoor furniture, or a dinner at wooden tables with inn chairs. It also suits couples looking for an unusual urban space to hold the party itself, provided the event location fits their numbers.
It is less suited to couples who want a single quote for standard tables, chairs and linen with setup included, or who cannot visit and would rather not choose pieces from a wish list. The short warehouse hours mean a planning visit needs to be timed or booked ahead.
