Henosis SA

Tap a star to rate

Henosis SA is a company in Romainmôtier that rents professional sound and lighting equipment for events in French-speaking Switzerland, and backs the rental with consulting, delivery, installation, a technician during the event and dismantling afterward. Weddings are named on its audiovisual page, and a wedding sound package is one of its three turnkey offers.

What the page covers

The audiovisual solutions page, published in English as well as French, is written for anyone organizing an event in French-speaking Switzerland who needs, in its own words, "impeccable sound, perfectly controlled lighting, and a technical team you can rely on." It lists the occasions it serves as festivals, concerts, weddings, birthdays, corporate events and DJ performances. The rest of the site shows that audiovisual rental is one part of a wider business: the menu also has sections for events, artist residencies and a journal.

The company's address is Chemin de Praël 1, 1323 Romainmôtier, and the email is info@henosis.ch. There is a project inquiry form on the page. No phone number is shown on this page.

The wedding package

The wedding offer is short and specific. Under the heading Wedding Sound Package the page says: "Wedding sound is one of our specialties. We offer discreet and elegant solutions for civil or religious ceremonies, as well as more powerful systems for the cocktail reception and dance party."

That split matches how a wedding day actually runs. A ceremony needs speech to carry clearly, often outdoors or in a church, without large speakers dominating the photos. The aperitif needs background music, and the evening needs a system that can fill a dance floor. The package description promises both ends, but it does not list the equipment inside it, so ask what a ceremony setup and an evening setup consist of for your guest count and your venue.

The page also describes a DJ Booth Package (a professional mixing setup, speakers, a monitoring system, lighting effects and all cabling) and a Birthday Package (a complete sound system, ambient lighting effects and a wireless microphone, either picked up on site or delivered). If your DJ brings only a controller, the DJ booth package is worth knowing about. The birthday package is the only one where the page states that self-collection is possible.

Sound equipment

The audio range on the page runs from intimate indoor setups to large outdoor stages. It lists professional loudspeakers (line array, full-range and subwoofers), stage monitors for musicians and vocalists, wired and wireless microphones (dynamic, condenser and RF), Behringer WING Compact mixing consoles, amplifiers and audio processors, and cables and stage accessories.

The page states that each sound system is configured and tested before delivery and tailored to the acoustics of the venue. For a couple with a live band at the reception, the stage monitors and vocal microphones mean the band's needs can be covered by the same supplier, though the band's own technical rider is what you would send to Henosis for a quote.

Lighting

For lighting the page lists LED PAR and Fresnel fixtures (wash, spot and beam), effect machines for haze, smoke and confetti, strobes and special effects, DJ lighting effects for clubs and private parties, stage lighting for concerts and live performances, and DMX controllers with ChamSys QuickQ 10 lighting consoles. The page mentions a wedding directly here too, offering "a soft, romantic atmosphere for a wedding" at one end of the range and a burst of color for a DJ night at the other, with the team designing "a custom lighting setup tailored to each event."

If you want haze, smoke or confetti, check with your venue that it allows them before you book; the page does not address venue restrictions.

The service around the rental

The page sets out four stages of technical service.

Technical consulting comes first. The team analyzes your project, the venue's constraints and your budget, and recommends a system sized for the event.

Delivery and installation follow: the team can deliver and install everything at the venue, including cabling, setup and acoustic adjustment.

Technical operation during the event is optional. A technician can run live sound, adjust lighting, work the control booth and provide continuous technical support.

Dismantling and removal at the end are handled by the team as well, so the couple does not have to arrange a crew for the end of the night.

For a couple planning from abroad, this chain is the main attraction: you do not have to find someone locally to collect, wire and run hired equipment.

Booking and language

Booking starts with the inquiry form, which asks for a name, email, phone and a description of the project. The form's note, in French, reads "Nous prendrons contact avec vous dans les plus brefs délais" (we will contact you as soon as possible). The page closes by offering to discuss the project, answer questions and provide "a personalized, no‑obligation quote."

Language is less of a hurdle here. The site has an English version of the audiovisual page and a French one, and the form labels themselves are in French. It does not say which languages the technicians work in on the day, which matters if your officiant or speakers need a sound check in English, so ask.

What the page does not say

There are no prices on the page, for the packages or for individual items, and no minimum order. The page does not state a service area beyond French-speaking Switzerland, so a couple marrying in German-speaking Switzerland or in Ticino should ask before assuming the team will travel there. Lead time, deposit, cancellation terms and how travel to a remote venue is charged are not covered. Nor does the page say whether the ceremony package includes a microphone for the officiant and a separate one for readings, the kind of detail that decides whether guests at the back can hear the vows.

Who it suits

Henosis suits a couple marrying in French-speaking Switzerland who wants sound and lighting from a single supplier, delivered, installed, run and removed without having to manage a crew. It is particularly useful for weddings with a ceremony and a party in the same place, or with live music, where the ceremony, aperitif and evening need different setups.

It is a less obvious fit for a wedding outside French-speaking Switzerland, for couples who want to compare published package prices, or for a very small celebration that only needs a speaker and a microphone, although the birthday package shows that small setups exist.
