Miss Deco

Tap a star to rate

Miss Deco is a decoration and event planning business at Er Puzzetáscia 2 in Monte Carasso, Ticino, run by a team of four women: two founding decorators, a florist and a wedding planner. It designs and installs wedding decoration and flowers, decorates private and corporate events and shops, and organizes weddings either in full or as coordination on the day. Its site is in Italian, and its wedding gallery describes the work as done for weddings celebrated in Ticino.

The team

The About page (Chi siamo) introduces the founders, Laura Ravazza and Amanda Morisoli. They share a training in decoration and visual merchandising, which they call their added value both in designing and in physically building the installations. They met working side by side for several years at a furniture store, and that is where the wish to create something of their own grew.

The team page lists each person's roles. Laura Ravazza is founder, designer, decorator, trainer of apprentices and "perito d'esame" (an exam assessor). Amanda Morisoli is founder, designer, decorator and trainer of apprentices. Sabrina Moretti is described as a qualified decorator and florist ("decoratrice e fiorista diplomata") who has chosen to work with natural materials without giving up on design, and who turns the team's ideas into real arrangements. Lea Gibersztein is the wedding and event planner, "formata all’estero" (trained abroad), and guides clients through the organizational side.

Together, the page says, they are four women with different and complementary skills, drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, travel and everyday life. It sums up how they work: they start from mood boards, materials, colors and styles to develop a made-to-measure concept that becomes a concrete project. Their slogan, in English on the site itself, is "limitless magic," and the header lists the fields as Decor, Flower, Wedding, Event and Design.

Wedding decoration

The wedding decoration page explains the offer in one sentence: "Progettiamo e creiamo in base alle vostre esigenze e i vostri desideri la decorazione e gli allestimenti che vi trasporteranno nella vostra atmosfera perfetta." (We design and create, based on your needs and wishes, the decoration and installations that will take you into your perfect atmosphere.)

The same page sets out a guide, described as simple, clear tools to help couples understand what they need, do their sums calmly and make decisions knowingly. It has five parts: how the process with the team works step by step (Il percorso con noi), what a concept book is and how it works, indicative costs for defining a budget (Costi indicativi), mood boards with real examples including volumes and costs, and trusted colleagues and partners. The headings show that the business gives couples budget guidance and real cost examples before the quote, although the figures themselves are not in the page text.

The About page ends with a line that fits the wedding work: "Ogni progetto per noi è una storia da costruire, da vivere e da ricordare." (For us, every project is a story to build, to live and to remember.)

Planning and coordination

Organization has its own page. It opens with the conviction that organizing a wedding or event should be a pleasure rather than a source of stress, and notes that professional wedding planners are becoming more common in the region.

The work is spelled out in practical terms. The team researches suppliers, requests and compares quotes, negotiates and settles agreements, plans the timings, writes a detailed program, coordinates each phase of the event and, if needed, deals discreetly with anything unexpected.

There are two levels.

Organizzazione completa (full organization) covers everything, in the page's words "Dalla A alla Z" (from A to Z), with Lea as the couple's fixed point through the process.

Coordinazione del giorno (coordination on the day) is for couples who already have all their suppliers but do not want friends, witnesses or relatives to spend the day managing everything.

For a couple planning from abroad, full organization combined with the team's own decoration and flowers is the main attraction: one team finds the local suppliers, runs the schedule and dresses the venue.

Other events and shops

The events page covers themed parties, special parties and corporate dinners, promising a made-to-measure project from the first idea to the installation. The homepage adds decoration for shops and businesses (Decorazione di commerci): welcoming reception areas and custom displays.

Contact and language

The contact block on every page gives the address, Er Puzzetáscia 2, 6513 Monte Carasso, and three direct numbers: Laura on +41 76 693 34 24, Amanda on +41 76 415 27 08 and Lea on +41 79 139 63 87. For decoration the email is info@missdeco.ch, and for planning it is planner@missdeco.ch.

The site is in Italian throughout, apart from the English slogan and a few English terms such as mood board, concept book and wedding planner. It does not say which other languages the team works in. Lea's training abroad is mentioned, but not where, so couples who want to plan in English, German or French should ask directly.

The menu also includes galleries of weddings and events and a testimonials page (Testimonianze), which are worth looking at before the first call.

What the pages leave open

No prices appear in the page text. The indicative-cost and example sections on the wedding decoration page are the place to start, and a quote follows from there. The pages do not state a service area beyond Ticino, where the gallery places the weddings, so couples marrying in another part of Switzerland should ask whether the team travels. Nor do they explain whether the decoration is rented for the day and taken away afterward or whether any pieces are bought, how far ahead to book, or what the planning fee structure is for full organization versus coordination on the day.

Who it suits

Miss Deco suits a couple marrying in Ticino who wants decoration, flowers and planning from one small team, with the option of handing over the whole organization to a dedicated planner. The budget guide and real cost examples help couples who like to understand the numbers before committing.

It is a less obvious fit for weddings far from Ticino, and couples who do not speak Italian should check early how the team handles English, since the site offers no other language.
